It's been a rough past few months for Trion Worlds. How rough? So rough that another gaming news website needs a “Mess Roundup” page to try and keep up with all the problems and negative news surrounding one of its titles.

"If you missed out, don't fret; Kwai told me that fresh start servers are “absolutely” something the company will do again, probably in the space of a year or a little longer, to coincide with a major content release."

"Part of the game's perception issue is due to the community, which – as you might expect from a game that features open-world PvP – can get toxic at times."

“ArcheAge has those tech problems because it dreams a lot bigger in scope than a lot of other MMOs,”

"As far as the forum code of conduct, I would think it's a bit outdated and in need of a refre *CLOSED*"

Archeage is a great game, and I would play it if it weren't so heavily P2W. What happened to Trion? They were great when Rift first launched. Seems like a downward spiral since then.

Because they make easy money having people buy the stuff they already did and it costs them nothing to do. As long as there's stupid people, why not take advantage? It is good for some people that do know how to play the game at a decent pace though (like knowing how to get a ship/gilda/etc).

Archeage is pay for progression because it is labor and proficiency system with make player driven economy . You can double or make more subs account to get more advantage to use labor for crafting. If only few people crafting that type of items or gear you stuck in your gear score because no one can sell you. This all things make Archeage have a catch up mechanic. If the game have catch up mechanic it will tells you, how long you can use your p2w gear? And catch up mechanic give you a question if you go p2w are you 100% percent win this game? How much I am going pay to win this game? I have a friends before he pay 1 thousand dollar to get into celestial gear set to get 4k gear score, 2 years ago and now it is free to regrade your gear just doing dungeons. Also Trion given soulforge full celestial gear set in legacy server. Dungeons and bosses also give you catch up mechanic in archeage without any cost. You can p2w also if you want to catch up old player not 100%

Thats why i only log in once a year to get a free set of celesial gear play till bored and than uninstall and wait another year. The gear grind is boring and the lack of questing is sad. i was hoping for more pve but its just not that type of game

If they can't handle the size of their dreams they should consider lowering their standards.

Some aspects of Trion games I enjoy immensely but other parts make me never want to never log in again.

IMO the games they make in-house get to about 80-85% of being a truly fantastic game then that last 15-20% misses the mark completely. That 15-20% in AR, Trove & Rift has to do with bad decision making and seeing as only one person has the final say in all decisions made there...

Its not Trion fault it is p2w garbage. Thank devs for that. Trion didnt make this game and on this very site it was spoken by mods that it is in fact the dev team who keep pressuring Trion to release shitty p2w.

All the old (Legacy) servers literally turning in to ghost towns, and TRINO great plan is open more servers...
The game is suffering with the lack of population, but they are greed and want people to start it over again in a new server, because merges in AA means trouble (land owners) and less profit.

Seriously, how can someone defend this company? They are as far as i know the worse MMO company so far.

I'm a look at each he individually and assess type of guy. Some of their games are good and some not so much. I enjoyed AA, not Rift, but yes to Trove and not sure about ATLAS. I think ppl potentially lose out on good experiences because they blanket entire companies because of a game.

I self identify as a monkey.
