I purchased this game off
https://conanexiles.com/ for early access this company
Did not inform me they use "Battleye" or 3rd party DRM Denuvo which have (THIRD PARTY Agreements / EULA) That you may not agree to Funcom doesn't make you aware of this, or aware of any Terms OF Service, so technically you are bound by nothing, and they require these to play the game.
Although Battleye does ask consent when I installed this game, and did give me a chance to back out of installing and I trust it a bit more now, Funcom should still make customers aware on their purchase website.

And actually Battleye did ask consent and showed me an EULA for that service, but Denuvo doesn't have any info except on their website, and I am not sure I trust this service because the Crackers / Hackers who crack software I have spoken to on reddit says it constantly writes changes code within the game and decrypts data on a persons hard-drive which can cause it to fail.
Blissful ignorance has worked well for me.

Good thing about Steam, long it doesn't show 2 hours played you auto get a refund.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
MAGA
....Conan Exiles game key for use on Steam....
Before you purchase ..
Steam Page ..
on the right , direclty under Play modes .. Highlighted in yellow ...
http://store.steampowered.com/app/440900/?snr=1_4_4__discovery-queue-0
The main webpage should still have the information on it with a checkbox that says " I Agree to the Terms & Conditions listed here and mentions battleye being a requirement, and Denuvo DRM usage".
Also the game is unplayable, and what looks like a great game could be a failure of a game having serious issues even getting the game to run any time I log out of the game "Conan Sandbox.exe gets stuck in task manager, along with "Beserve.exe" or battleye not closing have to close them out manually and restart...
Server Lists do not populate correctly, and while the game is running lots of DNS errors just browsing the internet no other game does this so its not on my end.
And the last thing "Private Servers" what could be a great game feels like its going to be no better than mine-craft simply because it didn't offer the MMO concept of games where a player can just login to the world like with "Elder Scrolls Online" on an official server if they want sure Private servers are fine, but if a player just wants to play on an official server, without getting the error (This server is full they should be able to, rather than having created 10 or 20 characters per server its rather annoying a game with good potential already being thrown down the drain because of the decisions in development );.
Your response here is a illegitimate, forgettable, wall of Nerdrage ...
Any consumer that took 35 seconds to glance over the Steam page would see it .. Its highlighted in Yellow for a reason , When you you clicked BUy and entered your CC info it linked you directly to the Steam Page , But if you mash buttons .. ADD TO CArt ...PURCHASE... INSTALL, and took no time to read about the product .. thats your fault .. The 3rd party info is right there in plan sight as well as the Disclaimer for EA as well as Funcoms own EULA ...
the rest of this response is clearly someone who doesnt understand EA /Alpha testing and should not participate in it ...
In the future take a few minutes to read , and maybe not jumped into Day 1 EA Alpha games , give them some time to iron out issues that We all know crop up in these projects and allow the Developer time to ironn out some of these common EA/ALpha issues that seem to be causing you some unecassary aggravation...

There is no (EULA OR Terms OF Service regarding the use of the game software from Funcom.) Meaning I could hack the software, decode do whatever the heck I please with it right now because I bought it through a 3rd party and wasn't required to agree to anything before my purchase right?
The Anti Cheat did ask consent to install itself this time last time on Planet Side 2 it didn't.
But what also wasn't told to me before my purchase or shown to me the 3rd party information was "DRM" Denuvo...

http://www.denuvo.com/
I don't agree with the denuvo terms of service, nor do I agree with it leaving files behind on my PC if I remove something, nor do I agree with them saying it doesn't impact my game or performance this is a complete lie...
There is a reason why "Doom" Removed Denuvo from their game, and why a few other games have as well..
Instead all I see on the conan Exiles site is a "Buy Now" button, and asking for my email, and PayPal, or Credit Card, no EULA / TOS with the actual game software, no mention of Battle Eye, although looking it it now it appears they put Denuvo DRM, but they still do not disclose what Denuvo is, how it works, or link to their website which tells people it can leave stuff behind, as for 5 activation limit a day who would need that lol Denuvo is a complete joke anyways causes performance issues.
I got it when I installed Paladins and thought I didn't like the whole leave "stuff on your computer" but my desire to play the game outweighed the concern of any problems the 3rd party software may cause.
I think DayZ also installs BattleEye but I could be wrong.
I mean I don't have a problem with Battleye being they are making an effort even to fix it on some games where it didn't so the agreement but its (Publishers) and (Developers) who need to make this clear on the website they sell their games with a notice and agreement with a check box saying that the user has acknowledged they read that it is required to have battleye to play on official servers...
This saves time for the company as they don't get lots of refund requests from those who don't want it, and they inform the user at the same time so there isn't arguments.
And the real reasoning for the thread has appeared.

That being said, companies should be upfront about these things in all avenues of purchase. I shouldn't miss out on information because I used X method to purchase the game.

I know you didn't bother to get a screenshot when you purchased, and I know it wasn't there at that time because you would have diligently noticed it, so they have obviously been lurking here and changed it because of this thread or the other 7,694 you have posted about this in.
