Simple fix. Restore from before the update and re-apply the update. SOE was afraid of a roll-back, now it appears that Daybreak has the same aversion to standard IT practices.

*lets delete this and say oops*, next week they say they cant revert guilds back to the game for x reason and before you know it, the game shuts down.
They know EQ is an important franchise so they are going at it very slowly by causing its remaining users to just lose interest and leave.
