Fans of tactical turn-based JRPGs will be happy to hear that Semisoft's Legrand Legacy has fully funded on KickStarter with three days left in the campaign. The team is hopeful that some stretch goals will be reached in the upcoming days.

    I'll stick with Battlechasers for now and see if I still actually have an interest in the genre, or if it's just nostalgia. It's cool to see more JRPG projects coming out though.

    This is a 3 minutes gameplay video for Legrand Legacy:

    You can download our Pre-Alpha demo from the Kickstarter page (kck.st/2jMmZO3) so you can try the combat system for yourself.

    We're currently aiming for a September 2017 release.

    Not sure how much was already done prior to the kickstarter, but the game looks real good considering they have only raised 40k

    @angerbeaver, well to be fair our original goal was equivalent to 50k in USD. We've been in development for 2 years before we even considered bringing it to Kickstarter.

    @Aori If you want to see the rest of the story and listen to more music, you can try downloading the Pre-Alpha demo which is available on our Kickstarter page. As far as graphics, bear in mind this is still a Pre-Alpha, we're still working on improving the shader, for example. Anyways, glad to have a snobbish JRPG player chimes in :D
