The Best Free MMORPG Ever

THIS IS THE BEST FREE MMORPG EVER........................

http://www.silkroadonline.net

The online game 'SilkRoad' targets the unceasingly active world other than the existing online games which the has built the entrenched world. On the specious Silk Road, the merchants constantly moves for trading and burglars who intend to strip them of goods. In addition, there are hunters who specialize in removing such burglars. On the Silk Road which seems to be static, the hostility and secret strife in which various groups continuously engage for the benefit of their own groups inform the Silk Road world with new life.

Besides, there is no fixed job in the SilkRoad world. All players can freely promote the growth of their own characters by their wills, and change his/her own group to other groups like merchant, burglar and hunter which he/she affiliated with as well as alter his/her character.

The player is to have an experience of ultimately free world with setting up not fixed, organically changed world.

The server system processed in the parallel decentralization can simultaneously accommodate a large group of users without fail and offer the more fresh game by virtue of minimized loading time. Moreover, realizing the more natural character's movement through the motion blending and dynamic animation technique provides the players with the improved oneness with the character.

The character models look nothing special from the screenshots, however I really do like the scenery. How's the character customization? A few games I've tried recently, most everyone looks exactly the same (Martial Heroes and KAL Online in particular). And for a game of that calibur to be free, there has to be some sort of 'cash shop' right? What're the benefits of the 'cash shop'? Can the items give other players an advantage over the rest? Or are they purely asthetic items (extra clothing - see MapleStory, etc). Most of this information I'm sure is on the website, but I'd like to see it from a players point of view rather than the developers (they tend to 'over-hype' things, as I'm sure most of you would know.).

    I play Silkroad

It is true the game has pretty amazing graphics , par with lineage 2 or GW.

But there is apsolutely no character customisation , you chose from few preset types of characer and thats it.... Also game interface is as clumsy as only koreans can make it. (only point click movement) Game is LAG fest. Client crushes to desktop if the server is overcrowded (and it is 99% of the time) Game community is non existant , as in every other free korean game. Only player interaction you will find is in trade messages or casual insult. The rest is grind , grind, grind

Bugs, Lag, bad community, little character customisation, flat PvP, nothing to make it stand out...

    GOOD GRAPHICS THO!

Alright, thanks for the heads up. Guess I'll stay away from this one then.

Silkroad didn't really impress me when i tried it out.
Best Free MMORPG Ever? Can't say yes or no to that question, as i have little experience with free MMORPG's. But i'd like to point out, that you should add 'imo' in the topic title! Not everyone fancies Korean style-MMORPG's, where clones and exhausting grinding is everyday material.

Silkroad is definetly the best Free MMORPG.  But that being said, its a free mmo so what do you expect.  It's actually your typical last gen Korean mmo that would have been killed if it weren't for the fact it was free.  I would recommend trying to gather the $12 they ask for a month and try out the next gen of Korean mmo when they come out this year and next year.  Granado Espada, SUN, Huxley, and Ragnarok Online 2 are definetly going to be worth it.
