World of Warcraft News - The World of Warcraft community site has been updated with a brief look at the upcoming PvP Brawl system coming with v7.2. Players will be able to take part in wild and crazy PvP matches that might include things such as periods of zero gravity or the ability to revisit an old favorite in Tarren Mill vs Southshore.

This will be fun to play it occasionally, but that's about it.
Blizzard are really going strong with the "throw at the wall and see what sticks"...
They are/have added/ing a bunch of crap and are waiting to see the response from the playerbase, but so far most of the crap is well... crap.

Casual PvP is just fine between random BGs, skirmish arenas and what not. What really needs work is ranked PvP that needs balance and much more to make it fun again for the competitive crowd. Of course, Blizzard also seems more vested in the whole casual thing in every aspect, so it's doubtful it'll ever happen. It's a shame, though. Best times I've had in PvP have been in ranked play, not casual.

Honestly, brawls as @Xingbairong said will only be fun on occasion for me. Without an incentive to play it other than "f-u-n" (i.e. no honor, no gear, no AP, etc.), it's way down my list of interesting things to spend time on in any given day.

Dont disagree with anything you said there, but i've honestly given up on them fixing competetive PVP. Its been broken in one way or another for years now with at least one class/spec thats ridiculously OP in any given patch you look back on. Its not so bad for people who can jump from class to class depending on that the flavour of the patch is but for people like me who want to focus on one character and invest a lot of my time into it, its horrible if the class i chose turns out to be terrible in PVP. Rather than enjoying PVP i have to endure it for the sake of acheivments or mounts etc.
Last few years i've just been playing casual when i jump onto WoW, however even casual feels horrible in Legion (at least it did a few months ago when i was playing) might have improved now.
Canceled my sub and doubt ill be returning until the next expac (and maybe not even then).

Are you really surprised?  WoW's been going for 12 years strong.  Even the Simpsons did this after more than a decade of shows.  You should be happy they are at least trying some new things.  Who knows, maybe they'll bring something new you've never seen.  Just my opinion.
