Dark and Light, what the hell happened to that?! This time last year loads were excited about it and yet 18 days from release it's still called vapourware.
No annoying animated GIF here!

Dark & Light is the only one on that list I've not heard of. You know how things get though, with the hype and such. Most likely, a few months before release there'll be something big about it to get gamers interested again.
Runescape: Lv 107
MapleStory: Lv 52 // Assassin
FlyFF: Lv 62 // Blade
Gunbound: Dual Silver Axe
Martial Heroes: Lv 44 // Scimitar Warrior
Well SoG isn't DnL, it a stripped down version, at least that is what we have been told so far.
DnL will release on 29th April to non-pioneers, so we will see if it's all BS or not. It still could be the game we had all expected, not long to wait.
Here's a heads up: The SOG debate
I switched off as soon as I heard about pre-ordering for Beta.

They've been saying SoG isn't DnL since E3 of last year. I played on the beta, through the contest here actually, and was... Disappointed to say the least. While DnL may not be vapourware, it will never be anything the hype led everyone to believe. It was supposed to shake the foundation of the big games like EQ2, SWG, and WoW (as far as this time last year) but now it'll be lucky if it can outdraw Horizons (in subscriptions that is, I feel HO is a very underrated game that if cleaned up could compete well.)
And as for Gods and Heroes being co-published by SOE... Who cares. SOE isn't making the game, only helping with money and distrobution. Not to mention I don't hear too many people blaming SOE for any of the other games in their stable outside of Smedly's cash grab in EQ2-Exchange.
And I feel that Hero's Journey is flying low under many gamers' radar here because it is being developed heavily with an emphasis on role-playing. Even the PvP is more geared towards rp.

SoG was only announced in November 05, one month before it started as a last minute mockup due to the missed DnL release date of Nov05 to give gamers at least something apart from screenshots and movies (It did backfire badly though, people thought it was DnL)
@ Anageth:
SoG is apparently NOT DnL, so there is still a chance it will be the real deal

I've taken that on board - considering that I followed the game everyday. The fact is that I don't like the general atmosphere of the game. Trying to find stuff to kill is ridiculous, there are going to be huge camp locations, and don't even get me started on general content. Out of the game, the devs haven't exactly impressed me either, with the lies on current server status and sudden changes in plans.

Fair enough but everything you just mentioned is part of SoG, so if your judging from that version you may not be seeing the whole picture.
Mobs arn't sequentially positioned from low level to high level like in a static world e.g. WoW. It's engineered to be more dynamic, where mobs migrate, move spawning sites if camped, encourage exploration/reduce camping, preditor/prey dynamics, level mixing due to migrations, it's a different kettle of fish alltogether... Not saying its better, it's just different from the usual static world
Goodluck in finding your game

Not trying to be rude, but I was a Stratics News Reporter for Dark and Light. You needn't tell me the features, I'm fully aware of that. I honestly thought that this dynamic world feature would work (in SoG), but it didn't. It's as simple as that. I'd much rather have regions where there are set levels, than going to a specific area in SoG/DnL, and getting suddenly wacked by a mob 10 levels over me.
Goodluck in finding your game
Thanks.
