Final Fantasy XIV News - A Japanese television drama based on Final Fantasy XIV has been in production for some time now. The production company recently released the opening credits sequence for Final Fantasy XIV: Daddy of Light. According to sources, the show is based on a father and son who play the game together that strengthens the bond between them. Let us know what you think!

    Much as I am a fan of (nearly) all things FFXIV - this could well be a step too far.
    Daddy of Light......oh.

    Edit - I'll qualify this: for Western tastes at least.

    It could be a great way to people to realize that they can bond with family members in a game in a way they they can't seem to do outside of a game, until the game brings them closer together.

    Whoever thought this was a good idea, should be fired.

    Not a good image for your brand to show up on numerous cringe videos with just your trailer.
