It's the perfect MMO for consoles. I think it'll be a much-needed shot in the arm. :)

In terms of gameplay, TERA is one of the dullest MMORPGs ever created. Not a good representation of the genre on consoles.

    Gameplay is dull?

In my opinion, gameplay is the least of it's problems. It's the story and questing system, which is more progression than gameplay. Gameplay is actually entertaining and I wish more MMOs would take up its combat system.

I really didn't expect to see a complaint from someone about TERA's gameplay of all things.

Edit: End game grind is also a problem I think. More of the same, nothing different. I'm not going to push that point much though, cause I simply don't have a solution to that.

TERA's a great game with amazing combat. I think it'll do well on consoles and I'm glad to see it moving there.

Questing, story are part of the gameplay. TERA has absolutely nothing to offer besides the combat.

I don't agree that gameplay and progression are the same thing in an MMO now-a-days but whatever.

Gameplay, in my eyes, is the way it's played.

Progression is the path of which the game takes.

    Gameplay is fun.

    Progression is not so fun.

Your opinion though ( which is not an absolute like how you're typing it ) , is your opinion. :)

MMOs expanding to consoles is a good thing nonetheless, no matter the MMO. Expands the playspace for everyone and makes the future for MMOs a little brighter.

It is amazing how some of these people act.  It doesn't matter what game you make a post on you will always have people like Filbur trying to bash it.  I don't think I have ever in my life gone to a forum  discussion about a VIDEO GAME I didn't like just to cry about how I didn't like it.

To each their own I guess no matter how weird I think it is to do. There are plenty of games I don't enjoy I personally prefer to focus on the ones I enjoy.

Ehhh, I might.  Encounters boil down to two types, with no interesting mechanics.  Hallway dungeons, AoE nuke every room until the boss, then single target it down.

TERA had some amazing, skill based fights it's first few years. It's sad that things have changed.

This might come as a surprise to you, but: This is a forum. A place where people share their opinions.

This might come as a surprise to you, but: Absolutes and opinions are different. You should learn the difference before you bash a game. :)

You are right it is I still find it weird some people rather spend their time in forums complaining about games they don't enjoy instead of spending time discussing games they do enjoy.

Nope it wasn't, you were trying to represent the game as an absolute not as your opinion.  Look at your first post here.  There was no attempt to be constructive in your contribution to this thread it was 100% an attempt to bash a video game you don't enjoy.  Like I said I find your type of attitude on these forums to be weird...But by all means continue on I just may also continue on commenting on those like you who always need to turn good news into something negative.
