So I just quit wow for RF Online, went to that and forgotten all about Auto Assault a game I loved in concept in its earlier beta testing stages, I preordered it and forgot about it. I got a message from gamestop about confirming it something with my credit card so I did it and canceled RF in preperation for AA. From reading the few posts on this forum I have been disapointed in the replies in a way is this game really bad? It looks good but from what I'm reading im growing skeptical. Can anyone try stress the strong points for me rather then the weak ones Just so I can hear from the other side of the spectrum.

    Auto Assault = OMGCARSWITHLASERSPEWPEWPEW!

Well if you like driving around for hours, mindlessly blowing $hit up, talking in 3 letter contractions and grinding away like you did in RF Online, then this game is for you. The community is as childish as World of Whinecraft. Item farming is up there with the best of the grinding games and in general not what it is advertised.

Put it this way, this game plays great with an X-Box controller, so let that give you an indication what the overall game play is like.

However, have a look at their forums and have a read at what the fanboys are saying. Even they have their doubts.

Note: I am extremely negative about this game, ever since Pann the Forum Nazi banned me from the official forums for trying to tell the truth about AA, so don't take my word for it. Go out and see for yourself.

I kinda like farming but the pvp in RF was ridiculous so I instantly was willing to make a switch, to kill someone your own lvl is impossible and in the huge battles if your not 40+ you get picked off within seconds. So your views against this game have convinced me that I will like it. And in the sense of World of Whinecraft where everyone hates and argues and cries about one another ill like that as well I thrive in  those things drama = intresting

Rightfully so, looking forward to to youre removal from these forums as well.

I'm going to grab this game on my way home!!  It looks good and appears to have some instant gratification for an online game.

Imo AA is being released a patch or two early, but unfortunately almost all mmorpg's are.  The end game pvp will be an absolute blast with a few minor tweaks.  Instant kills will be very rare with the recent changes to criticals.

Meks and Mutants are a bit content light, and even humans could use a few quests in a couple level ranges.  Doesn't hurt to grind a bit for the drops anyways though.

    Amen to that!

As for AA, try it. I personally find it great fun.

AA is great, such a nice change from swords and sorcery.  AA = Twisted Metal + WoW/Diablo-esque skill system, set in a Mad Max type world.  It's great!
