    I don't know if the key only lasts that long, but this beta is supposed to be going until launch in July

    WIfe tried to register for a beta key as well with her mmorpg.com account and this new system tells her "YOU ARE ALREADY WAITING FOR A KEY FROM THIS CAMPAIGN" So because I registered from the same IP she cant as well?

    That's a bit disappointing. Is this coming from mmorpg.com or from the Albion folks?

    Handing out beta keys (and helping them to test their game) shouldn't be a gamble or about how lucky i am.
    IMO getting in to beta test Albion is not a "reward", like is with some highly anticipated AAA titles.
    Am i supposed to feel like a winner if i get one?

    It's common knowledge that the folks at Sandbox Interactive didnt really listen to their beta testers along the way, hence the game comes with some severe conceptual/design problems and probably won't make it very far with them.

    So they better hand out these keys to the masses and listen to the feedback.

    Huh? We (and other sites) raffle off keys all the time. Nothing new. We only have a few, so first come, first serve would be pretty lame.

    I would perform tricks like a circus monkey if I could get a key. I can't shell out $30 and get burned again. If I like it, I'd be all in for the package with a mount :)

    Full loot pvp? Hell no. You give the full time/lazy gamers all the power again. I don't care what reason they are living at home full time and gaming full time...but I should be given a small bell curve to deal with their mess.

    The developers of this game must be STUPID!

    They have already proven they won't listen to the testers so what is the point of having Beta tests or any testing for that matter?

    I don't hold much hope for the game & personally won't be wasting a single moment of my time or my $ playing it....

    Fret not, you guys will be replaced by other testers, hence, will not be missed.
    Oh and I am very eager to play your game without aforementioned conceptual/design problems. Seems you have a superior knowledge in things and I just wonder why not make one yourself?

    If something is a common knowledge that doesn't mean that it's the truth. Maybe you guys were wrong? Anyway, there are heaps of people who will be swooping the game if not you.

    And the era is changing as well as everything else. For a long time being, this is how folks do it here ; rng key giveaways .Its not a personal thing so you don't have to feel lucky, unlucky, rewarded or whatnot.

    Wish you a good luck on your future beta tests. I hope you'll make your peace with beta gods.

    So it's not "first come, first serve", but the contest still ends within hours (minutes?) Whats the point of doing a raffle instead of simply handing them out if the majority of readers can't participate anyways because the raffle ends just as fast? The point of a raffle is so that everyone has a chance, like you said. Or did you have like 5 keys, which would have been gone in 2 minutes, and this way the raffle lasted 2 hours, allowing 50 people to participate?

    I'm not sure if i would have claimed one, probably not, but thats some weird reasoning.

    Only a 7 day trial.  If you are interested in the trying the game you are going to have to spend some money.
