Dauntless News - The Dauntless site has been updated with a brief look at forthcoming alpha experiences. Players are invited to sign up for testing which is expected to begin in late April and then continue on a regular basis through the summer.

    I applied but doubt I'll be picked...have a 5 year old system.

    Currently testing Revelation Online...between CBT2-OBT, I've reported 468 bugs not counting gold sellers or exploiters.

    Having an older system might actually improve your chances since they want to do testing with a broad spectrum of machines.

    Co-op fighting bosses? Meh. Great graphics, impressive weapons, nice change from the MOBAS, but seems pretty limited to me. Another hack-n-slash, just PvE instead of PvP. And watching the videos, I found myself feeling sorry for the behemoths... Looks cool and fun for what it is and those who like that kind of thing that much.

    You felt sorry for the behemoths oh dear that does not sound like they were sufficiently menacing. 

    I can understand getting together to kill a huge creature but if one ends up swamping the poor sod it makes for poor entertainment. I always felt you have to build a sufficient amount of hatred for a monster which is why when they keep killing you and you finally triumph over it a feeling of satisfaction ensues. Of course random mob killing can be fun for loot but wouldn't killing big ass monster term from Tera get boring after a bit if there is no attached story behind it. Oh may be I do not get the genre properly.

    Is this like monster hunting ?
