Not sure if this should be in Guilds or General Discussion so im putting it in both....its a very long story so dont read it if you dont want to
okay so first...im a level 8 noob..and i get invited to this guild called "Stormwind Keepers" no idea what this guild is like...so im in it for a few hours when a daily announcment comes on saying "levels 20+ go to Stormwind Alliance" so i got to level 20 after a few weeks (yes im very slow) and i joined SWA i was so happy and cheerful because i realized that we we're in a magazine and almost on the news for being THE biggest guild ever with 1500+ people...so i was in it for a few months haveing the greatest time of my life when all of the sudden things start to go down hill
Our higher levels started complaining about how we didn't do any end-game content enough and so alot threatened to leave..but to counter that move we made Stormwind Legion WORSE DECISION EVER...it was for players 55+ and only about 200 joined....then one of like the Co-guild members was giving our GL a lot of lip about how SWL is still crap and well our GL left...along with more than HALF our guild
More people got mad because they said our new GL drove our old one out..which he didnt so we lost around 100-200 a day for about a week...so then SWL is doing they're own thing and i find out SWK disbanded...so now we have like 2 guilds with only 600 total members...so then our new guild leader promotes me to officer and tells me to recruit new members..ive never been bashed so much in my ENTIRE life! supposedly our old GL spammed invites EVERYWHERE i get all this in the general chat "OO LOOK ITS THE SPAM GUILD" or "NO ONE JOIN THAT GUILD THEY ONLY HAVE MEMBERS FROM SPAMMING" and i get people making fun of me in every single area
About a week ago our new GL splits SWA into SWA and the Common wealth which is level 40+ and now we have around 350 in SWA 200 in The Commonwealth and around 200 in SWL
should i leave this guild because it really is taking fun from my game..but i mean its like my second family because ive been here since i was a noob and im an officer..so itd be really dishonorable especially since alot of people like me....

Not really, if you aren't happy then leave especially if it is ruining your fun. Lots of people have been in a similar situation; the bigger the guild the more chances you won't get along with a particular member or agree with a particular decision. There are bound to be personality classhes. I tend to avoid guilds that don't have a cap on number of players or are too large.
With a guild of 1500+, that's a huge percentage of the realm. You may have to pick another realm (another reson not to pick a large guild, if it goes pear-shaped you are kinda stuck), that's up to you. There are plenty of realms and can be quite fun starting fron 0 again. If you are lucky you may be able to transfer. Just don't beat yourself up about it even though you are an officer, maybe you can form another smaller guild. I don't know your particular guild situation or set up and so I'm only giving you guidance based on a number of years of experience playing online games; feel free to ignore me entirely hehe!

to hell with them... You dont join to invite, you join to have fun... inviting other players is a side-objective to what your meant to do
