Arcfall has a brand new page on Steam and will be heading to Early Access release in the near future. The game is currently in its pre-alpha stage but it's got big plans for the future with community input. Features currently in the game include non-instanced player housing, crafting, farming, mounts, full loot on death, PvE zones, classless skill-based character system, and much more.

Is there any one that actually believes this isn't, if it ever makes it out of alpha, gonna have a pay 2 win cash shop? I bet if it gets further, they will even throw a gambling cash shop in before the game is even out.
Also, no idea why AA is in the same category with DF and MO, think the above poster is high.

I know some will say it's been done to death, but in my opinion, the problem is UO hasn't been re-created correctly. They always try to throw in some gimmick. I could go into reasons why games like Archeage, Darkfall, and Shards Online haven't worked for me (Albion Online is close, and I'll probably play it, but it's not quite the same), but it seems superfluous.
Wish them the best! I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

Basically clicking away text windows ruins every MMO, try to have fun instead of rushing things. Without story and lore all there is left is a bunch of mechanics.

So please name an actual UO clone. I've never seen one in all of the MMOs I've played. Similar but no clones. So I don't see why people say this has been 'done to death', when we've got 50 million WoW clones.
This came out of no where for me, but I'm not so quick to write it off for such shallow reasons as animations or graphics. There are plenty of popular games that are lacking in those departments. Anyway I don't stick around to see how pretty it looks when I swing a sword the 1000th time. If the gameplay mechanics are fun and there isn't active cheating or pay to win I'll check it out.
Archeage didn't achieve the success it could have mainly because of cheaters gobbling up housing spots, a pay to win design, and finally a massive turn from sandbox gameplay (which the world was designed for) to themepark control.
Kinda hard to be heard of if you're not putting your product out there. I can't see who such platforms are designed for if it's not small studios like this.

I posted a thread about this game a few days ago and said the same thing. xD
