    woo hoo! i might snag this for the heck of it. i've been contemplating going back to CoH/CoV as it is. i'd like to see if they've made any changes since i last played the game.

    i think the character creation is a game in and of itself. much fun to be had!

    Thanks even if not long term player the dressing up and character creation tons of fun  don't rush through that part as the costumes are fun to play with .

    Err yeah i got my key to but i got a problem m8's..

    It says:

    1: Go to
    2: Follow instructions on this site
    3: (another thing i can't remember anymore)

    but the point is.. I got no link @ point 1.. So i don't know where to download the client/beta/trial version.. So if annyone can post the link of the site pls? I've been to CoV.com allready but couldn't find anything.

    Mauzz, it's rather complicated, and it's not at the same time. Client is right here. Yes it's City of Heroes, but once you log in, it will magically change to City of Villains.

    I've been wanting to try either CoH or CoV, not merely to play, but for the character customization. Superb offer that you've obtained but it wasn't a requirement of a credit card that put me off (I have one, and use it extensively - and ALWAYS pay off in full each and every month. More accurately, 45 days), as the fact that my Pc is not leet:

    AMD 1.4 Thunderbird
    256DDR RAM
    GeForce 2 400 MX (D'oh! MX!)

    You can tell that I'm not a games player. Blame all those shitty MMORPGs that promised so much and failed to deliver for my predicament. I kept threatening to upgrade when they went Gold. Instead, all of them, went down the toilet. Even though I do have the money to upgrade, I have far more pressing concerns than upgrading my Pc sadly. So I'm putting off upgrading until Vanguard.

    The real kick in the nuts is that I cannot even play CoV at a friend's house because he is STILL on 56k modem!

    Have to hope that there is a trial in 6 months or so time. I'd probably spend the WHOLE trial period messing around with character customization. Hey, can any of you people post your characters? I'd love to see the game engine. Tiny Pic is a really good FREE picture host (far, far better than Imagecash).

    So, if i understand good.. I need to have City of Heroes and then insert my key, so it'll change to City of Villains? Or the thing i couldn't get is.. Whats the "go to " part then? Doesn't it lead to a site or something?
    Let me explain..
    When you entered, you saw : 1: Go to "site.com" for example right?
    the "site.com" appears black in my web browser (firefox) so i could'not open anything.

    Sorry if you don't understand.. I'm bit tired so maybe lil'bit bad english ..

    In my post I had a link, the word 'Client' was the link. That will let you download City of Heroes, once you install and update, CoH will come up. Once you log in, with the account you made for CoV, it will change to CoV.

    To those of you that can't find the link on the page with your key, try it using IE.

    It's mostly moot, becaues the page that you get linked to on the CoV site seems broken too, but that's something at least ;).

    Sorry i'd removed IE from my pc... Popups and things like that.. And firefox is way much easier,
    so wuold anyone of you could be so kind and post the link:)? (with client?)
