    Its one of the best ports i've seen, and its a really good game, way better than horizon zero dawn i'll totally agree, it may not be the best game ever, but it is definitely, imo at least, counted alongside them. B)

    I've played the hell out of the game on my PS3 years ago, it's a great game. 

    Is it better than horizon Dawn, depends what your tastes are imo. 

    Both great games, I prefer the setting of DDDA.

    It was really the only game I'd play on my Wife's PS3, now I play the hell out of it on PC. Just started my forth play through yesterday. It's one of the few games outside of the TES series I've played through multiple times, the setting and game-play never get old, I also love how there are whole story threads I seem to miss every time.

    Probably not THE best game ever made but it has to be the most enjoyable one that I have played in recent years. Whereas it lacks in story presentation and strong characters (there being exceptions, notably Grigori), as well as world feeling empty in some places, it dwarfs those and some other issues with my all time favourite combat system in any rpg on it's own. Not to mention that I heard that original had performance issues on consoles (which was major criticism) and it's something not to be found in PC port so that's another great thing of that version.

    I so hope that Hideaki Itsuno's current project is in fact DD2, but I guess we will find out in next few months. Online would be a nice time sink till then if Capcom would stop being stubborn and make english version already.

    Yeah I agree its the best game ever made, at least in that genre (arpg). Been hoping for a sequel for years.

    It's an excellent game, to be sure! I keep hoping and praying Capcom will develop a sequel, or at the very least remaster the original for current gen consoles. With a few refinements, a sequel / remaster could take its place next to the likes of Witcher 3, Horizon, the Souls series, Bloodborne, Nier: Automata, Shadow of Mordor, and Kingdoms of Amalur as one of the greatest ARPGs of all time.

    Why they won't let us have the online version is beyond me. From what I've seen the combat is quite similar to the normal version,even climbing up the back of mobs.

    'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless. 

    It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

    It is just huge resource waste....'

    The combat is great but everything else is incomplete (story and map) and the pawns are idiots.  I think Witcher 3, Horizon and Zelda breath of the Wild are better overall and all have much larger worlds and better story.
