MMO's are really dead aren't they? Must be why that chic that writes for this site publishes a mass effect 3 article every other day like that shit game is the game of the century...... I miss the day when a new MMO came out every month and the hype surrounding it was surreal .

Better than me, I am playing Fallout 4 on Survival with no mods and a full time job. This week. I found Strong and completed some Goodneighbor quests. I also only died twice.

+100 to this.  MMOs are generally in good shape from a technical standpoint, but that's about it.  I'm so sick and tired of seeing the Hype Train get rolling for the latest "new shiny" or the 63,000 F2P crap-fests coming out this week, it just curdles my soul.  I'm an old vet, like many others here, and I still pan these forums looking for an inkling of hope, but it simply doesn't exist.  Between P2W "kickstarter" games and their F2P counterparts, and the overall decline of the genre, even considering the graphics and systems we have available now, MMOs are just horrible now.  I don't pine for the good old days in terms of gaming aspects, so much as I pine for the days when people actually read, were at least somewhat willing to self-educate themselves, and were capable of communicating beyond 140 characters.

Not a bad week for me though, but that's because I'm not even playing MMOs now.  I grabbed Injustice 2 for XB1 and was instantly hooked (Supergirl rocks!), finally got around to starting a Game-Plus on Witcher 3 (a little behind on that, lol), and believe it or not, I found a cheap used copy of ME:A and am actually enjoying it even though it is far from perfect.  Thank God for single-player games right about now.

Just to be more explicit about why I shovels is exciting is because of terraforming.

just an FYI to my own OP

While it's hard not to love a good shovel, but I think the development changes with Crowfall are topping my list of exciting news: https://crowfall.com/en/news/massive-reveal-day-is-here/

Medieval Engineers biggest derp is the performance, even wanting to, it's just a sequel to the same problem on Space Engineers, only with more simulation making it worse.

Would poke back on it, once/if they go through that before this sort of new features.

from what I heard the this update is a huge performance increase.

I have never built anything large enough for it to be a problem on either ME or SE.
At least you can build mega structures with graphics better than minecraft in those other games...right? oh wait no you cant

As for performance, it is better but on player-built keeps and such is still the usual nightmare, they make a lot of physics simulation so the CPU simply gives up. It also gives in when the player-made mining tunels. =/

It simply overkills it making it nearly intolerable to play, from low to high-end.

like I said, then I would suggest playing that other game that allows you to voxel build a lot of interesting things with much better graphics then minecraft instead.

I for one do not have a problem with it

I do like this game, especially because it's physics and destruction aspect is actually simulated what is very rare to find in this sort of the games.

It's one of those games that we would like to play but do not exist yet on a completed form.

I guess your just stuck with the awesomeness of first person shooters then. Again, I am having zero performance problems. should we talk about that fact some more?
