Kritika Online is an Action MMOG published by En Masse and developed by Alm. It’s been out for a while in its native country and is now just hitting the States. You may know En Masse because they are the publishers of TERA and A.V.A. I have played TERA a lot and I think En Masse has done a better job than most at being a publisher of Eastern-born MMOs. Kritika Online is in Closed Beta as of today, and you can either get on their wait list or buy your way in with a founder’s pack.

Game uses "Game Guard" just be aware of this if anyone wants to buy a package early and this Root-Kit can't be easily uninstalled once its installed with the game.

Umm yeah this game launched in Korea in 2013.

Still dont know why Enmasse thinks that this will gain any traction in the west.

A lot of people actually. The forums are quite active... seems a lot of people are coming from Dragon Nest over to this game.

As long as its fun - doesn't matter how long it's been released, plus, I bet a ton of people who play Tera will give it a try considering Enmasse.

PS - All mammals have nipples.

    Get over it already.

I also think that this game fits the bill for folks who like games like Vindictus, Dungeon Fighter, etc. It's not a traditional MMORPG, but they have their audiences.

Yeah I personally played the android version of this game and liked it until I found out the Android Version had XingCode on mobile and completely ruined my SD Card, as well as modified files and pictures had to go through a big complaint dispute with Google about this APP on the Google play store, but face it a game that brings in money Google is willing to look the other way unless someone some-day takes legal action.

If they remove Game Guard before launch of the game I don't see why it wouldn't have a decent number of casual players especially if it has PVP, and if it was released across consoles it would have even more players.

I'd be surprised, if it makes even a little dent on PC, if it didn't hit consoles. As I played, it genuinely felt like a perfect console game.

Closed Beta today? On their site it says Closed Beta begins tomorrow, May 24th, 2017. Did they launch it a day early?

I think it's us who are wrong. Embargo was today, so we misspoke. I'll fix.

They dont. They just want cash flow from the founders packs people are dumb enough to buy. Then when it tanks, they just use it as a huge tax shelter and take bad investment losses to offset income they wouldnt otherwise be able to offset.

First of all. Their website is very bad (broken). I played this game in Asian server long time ago and it was too generic and wasn't that fun. Considering the game being 3 years old, it won't be that great at all. If anyone is buying founders pack, well good luck to you all. I don't get why everyone is falling for these stuff.

Meh I got a beta invite installed the game but not going to play it...

Because its got Game Guard );, They don't even tell customers before a consumer buys their product and Enmasse as a Publisher used to be one of the halfway decent publishers that didn't publish pure garbage.

Now Even Enmasse publish Kritika with a Rootkit, and yet Tera, and ZMR didn't have any of this I wonder why.

It's fun, but it also feels "cheap" to me. IMO Tera/BnS have better combat/world. Definitely a solid fun second game or for people without a lot of time, who can only sit at their computer an hour or so per day.
Now Playing: Bless / Summoners War
Looking forward to: Crowfall / Lost Ark / Black Desert Mobile

I think I played this for about 10 minutes before I uninstalled.
  • KnightFalzKnightFalz Member EpicPosts: 4,583
It's an alright game if you take it for what it is, essentially a nod to the days when gaming was playing through the same content over and over in an effort to beat your high score.

It is a modern take on the side-scrolling beatemups of yesteryear, with a change in play perspective and the addition of hubs and minimal character building to give an action RPG aspect to it.

It is more Double Dragon than it is Tera or BnS.

it might appeal to dragon nest players but even then it's meh at best and graphics are way out of date
  • RenoakuRenoaku Member EpicPosts: 3,157
And so far Enmasse sent me an Email to a Ticket saying "They have no plans to remove "Game Guard Rootkit" but would forward it on to the proper department, Looks like "Enmasse" has truly given in to hosting / publishing games with RootKits just so everyone can be aware, and not knowingly install this...

Could be a decent game, but I am looking more forward to honest games and perhaps Ashes OF Creation.

Just tried this, and really, don't bother with it. It's a carbon copy of Dragon Nest, including the horribly outdated graphics. If anyone wants to play a dungeon fighter, play Dragon Nest of Vindictus.

    Playing: WF
Played: WoW, GW2, L2, WAR, AoC, DnL (2005), GW, LotRO, EQ2, TOR, CoH (RIP), STO, TSW, TERA, EVE, ESO, BDO
Tried: EQ, UO, AO, EnB, TCoS, Fury, Ryzom, EU, DDO, TR, RF, CO, Aion, VG, DN, Vindictus, AA
