These are some really great changes. Honestly wish the game had started with them, as I can't even think about how much gold I've wasted crafting in the past. Better late than never, I suppose..

As long as its making money... not gonna happen. Sorry to disappoint

Agreed, this is definitely a huge game for Trion regardless of how many people (including myself) complain about it. Serious whales in this game that dont care and even though I'd prefer Trion to just make it a sub game with pure vanity CS, from a business perspective, I can't be mad. Just like I can't be mad at FFXIV's CS from a business perspective.

Oh, dont get it twisted. I do not care if they keep dragging the game out.

Also just because the game is still making money does not mean its not done. Only thing this game will do is keep getting emptier over time.

ArcheAge will always be an epic fail that could have been so much more.

3.5 will be a flash in the pan. All the bored whales will come back 2-3 shot everybody with the all but unattainable Erenor gear/Primordial buffs for a couple months then take back off.

I don't care of P2W games because it's f2p. F2p means you can make more accounts without any pay. Sub games everyone is already pay to win the game. In f2p game with p2w I can survive without paying for real money if I have a lot of time to play the game. If the game is not p2w it's hard to catch up the old player also, and make you to quit the game. If you have a job in real life and no time to play the game. My definition of P2W in Archeage, if you P2w doesn't mean you can win 100% . Also the P2w have a duration because AA have a catch up mechanic. Example: my friend before he is the most P2w in the server. He spend a thousand dollar just to make his gear to celestial delphinad. Now you can get free delphinad tier celestial just doing dungeon without any cost. This game is not like in other MMO's if you have strongest gear, you can earn more gold because you can kill mobs more faster. In AA a lot of ways to earn gold. If you made a right decision you can win the game.

Don't be fooled by this. While they have decreased RNG on the low end stuff, they added even more RNG on the high end stuff.

You'd like to think that Archeage isn't attracting new players, but currently on Reckoning, new players are coming in, it comes as a surprise given the fact these players are coming from FFXIV and WoW. Some new player just the other day said wow this game is awesome, I said my condolences. It's the game we all hate to love, admit it.

Whales may get a slight jump on other players, but Erenor works somewhat like the guild cloak system, you have to run dungeons to get the gear to feed into erenor gear, that will slow down the whale's progress, every time you upgrade a piece of gear it resets back to basic (terrible implementation), on servers with overly high populations and overly low populations will get hit with the limited resources required to make scrolls. The new fresh start servers AH is just 2 AHs, this puts anyone on the fresh start servers at a disadvantage to legacy, not to mention if people come back to those servers, they will be overcrowded again, causing even more of a strain on an already limited resource, xlgame's devs really lack foresight when it comes to these problems.

It's funny that you would say that as we all know how you feel about Black Desert. I've always felt that Black Desert wanted to be like ArcheAge. As people have said, ArcheAge has better naval combat than Black Desert. Black Desert tried to be a contender when it comes to naval battle but failed; ArcheAge is superior in many ways. I left ArcheAge over a year ago, and I avoid games similar to ArcheAge such as Black Desert. Yes, I agree the game was excellent, but I left for the same reasons that many have already mentioned.
