No level limit

Does anyone know any mmorpg where you can rise your character as much as you can without being limited by a level? like wow=60 etc..... ?

Or at least a mmorpg where you can have a huge level

Price doesn't matter but it must be 3d , nice graphic.... interesting quests all a maniac wants which is bored to be limited....

TY

If a game let the player advance for infinite it would be impossible to create content for such a game.

    While not MMO, but muliplay

Neverwinter Nights on the server of Aventia, they have no lvl limit after reach game designed limit. You can still continue lvl up to gain extra damage output per lvl. I remember when the max lvl was 20, there were ppl over lvl 100 with tons of more damage over regular lvl 20. When I was playing, it had max 72 slots on each of the 3 servers that can be switched with portals in town.

Well again it is not MMO, but muliplay. The graphics isn't the latest but not that suck either, the PvE is very fun at least on Aventia. PvP on the other almost non exist besides arena, but you can try to pk if you want lol.

well it will , there can be things like if someone is 10 levels under you it can't be killed , or dunno ...

something like this anyway and monsters be incresed by u're lvl too , like same monster if u fight it at lvl 1 is easy but at lvl 15 is hard , it doesn't have the same stats , something like in oblivion ....

or a game with a very high max lvl

if you play lineage 2 without ebaying or botting it will feel limitless

you can level up to 78 then make a subclass twice which is the equivalent of going 78 + 38 + 38
(you start subclasses at 40) each subclass can be a different type so you can make an archer a nuker and a tank if you want...

graphics are the best too imo but quests aren't as good as wow

EVE. Its all real time training. Like when you get higher up on some skills, they'll take 28 days to train. You just set the skill you want to train and it ups it automatically, even when logged off.

I second the mentioning of EVE Online, theres currently 17 years of skill training in the game and they add more every 6 months or so

No it wouldn't. Most game designers don't go that route because its easier to balance with a cap. To be honest, creating content can be the hardest and easiest thing to do in a game. It all depends on the devs, and where they want to take the game, and the programs and processes they use.

using the idea of  levels is not the best way to look at it,.if your asking if theres a game where you can advance your character for what is starting to look like forever, then eve-online may fill this hunger of yours..
  • VolkmarVolkmar Member UncommonPosts: 2,501

IIRC, Shadowbane didn't have any level cap but rising the level over 70 gave you only minimal advantages.

Good news is the game is free, so you can go and just test it right away.

Bad news is prolly it won't last after May.

In the Fourth Coming you can raise as much as you want, and in its near decade long stint someone has reached level 600.

In ROSE you can go to 200.

In Monster and Me you can got into the thousands I believe.  Wasn't sure didnt stick to long on this game.

Ryzom has over 11,000 skill levels all attainable if you were to spend enough time (which noone has ever done to my knowledge :P)
