Bless News - After rumors and later confirmation by Neowiz, we finally have the official word from Aeria Games / Gamigo about the cancellation of the EU / NA publication of Bless Online.

    How about ... I don't know. Who would do a good job with this one? It will probably go to Trion in the end.

    This is what I am reading too. 

    What a shame because Bless was one of the best mmos I have played in years.  :(

    Given that the Russian publisher also threw Bless back at Neowiz and now Aeria, it wouldn't be a bad guess that Bless just won't make it out in the West unless they go directly to Steam or something.

    I hope you are right and Bless does come to Steam.  I really want to play this game!

    Pretty sure Bless is done, hell from what little I read it's not even doing good in KR either...

    Nobody will take on a game that has major tech problems. I am pretty sure that every major western publisher has turned down Bless already

    Not sure how else to say it but Bless is done, unless Neowiz actually fixes the problems - which they have tried and failed for well over a year.

    The real problem this time is the developer not the publisher.



    Having not paided much attention to this one since I wrote it off as a KR grinder/cashgrab game what are it's tech problems?

    the game got problem in KR in server stability, it can lag for a whole 2-5 min no matter your connection or computer... it kinda server side.

    the same can happen when too many peoples are near each others for pvp...

    that kinda game breaking and they are unable fix it...

    rumor talk about the whole engine they used not good enough for a mmorpg but that just rumor.

    they got gamebreaking bugs that the reason it going so bad with the title.

    the game realy realy good but it hard enjoy the games when you play for a long time...

    and since they did not fix these bugs the rumor probably true they would need more that change some code for fix these insane bugs.

    Games like Bless are why it's difficult to have much hope for MMOs....It's the reason why I don't fall for hype in this genre anymore....My stance for the last 10 years has been "show me a finished, polished game then I will take a look"

    'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless. 

    It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

    Aeria is a company that never ceases to perplex me. When they get a property that actually has potential to be effectively adapted to the western market (like this or Realm of the Titans) they cancel it, but then they turn around and pump out several hideous, cheap anime MMOs with no real potential.

    HAHAHAHAHA did i read that wrong.. no matter how shit a game is, you have to basically turn up with.. well.. a half finished mobile game to get turned down by Aeria, main supplier of shitty p2w flash games

    KR servers have had multiple mergers. Russian servers are now closed. Japan launch is their new focus. No clue how Japan isn't needing high standards but NA/EU does? They blew it for something that should have been great. I definitely enjoyed the game.

    Hopefully the Japan launch will give them enough revenue to keep the game going, and fix their technical issues... :(

    Otherwise RIP the only MMO I was remotely looking forward to trying.

    The only recent Asian MMO that looked like it was not going to be P2W is getting rejected but all these publishers its fucking bullshit I bet you the only reason Aeria games pulled out was the lack of P2W in the game.

    Looks like it is the P2W aspect not being present enough if as according to Blue they have more or less fixed the tech issue.

    Unless Bless is the next League of Legends, WoW, or Final Fantasy XIV (which is HIGHLY doubtful even if Bless IS really good), I imagine it doesn't make very much money if it isn't P2W.  Sadly, that's just how the MMO market works these days. All Aeria had to do in that case then is look at the money it was making at which point they and everyone else probably said "Nope."
