Any changes in SWG? worth comming back?

With this post I do not intend to start a another NGE flame.
Was wandering if people have being returning to SWG and if the servers are still deserted...was thinking of comming back but I played NGE for 1 month and hated it mostly because of the bugs and lack of bug fixes...and also the realy crappy CSR.
Wish they didnt launch the CU or NGE,SWG was soo fun before any of those,I remember running around in naff groups ,resting in camps,going to the cantina in coronet where it was always crowded...I even miss the times when I got to the SP 1 just before the shuttle went off,had to wait 10mins but was fun because you waited 10 mins along side atleast 20 other people.I missed the days when me and my buddy hunted the acklay for it's bones,one of our goals was to make it to jedi,to have the best power hammers on the server and to get a JP and manda armor.I realy miss proffesion diversity,crafting wich almost doesnt exist because of the NGE's WoW style loot based economy and I miss the great GCW battles on Lok.My oppinion is the game should have stayed the way it was.
I hear alot of people saying that vets are comming back and coronet and the other great citys are becoming active again,ive heard alot of people saying that the citys are still empty,soo I am not sure if I should come back or just stay away from the game and hope that the devs will reroll back to pr-CU (wich I am sure it isnt going to happen).

most of us vets want pre cu or even cu. But the devs wont doit. The game is still fucked up so nothing to return to find some other game to play. SWG will never be worth playing again whit NGE ..
SWG is dead and will most likely not be revived. Either wait for an "unofficial" server to pop up or just uninstall the game. Let the lazy, instant gratification crowd have their "fun". While they can....

If you hated the nge before, there's no reason to try it again. Still there.

This hasn't changed.
Depending on the server, the 3 main cities, Eisley, Theed and Cnet can get crowded (40-50 people). That is about it.
I read about SOE's publish plan,but I do not belive they will stick to it..they promised smuggler revamp and theme park along time ago for exemple,they will reach publish 29-30 and launch another NGE because SWG still wasnt starwarsy.
Honestly the only person that can answer that for you is yourself. Subscribe for a month and look around if you really have the itch to play. Some people are more easily entertained than others so you might like it just fine. It's a matter of taste. But if I were to give a friend my opinion, I'd tell them not to waste their money

I played WoW for 1 month ,didnt like it that much,not alot of socializing,it was fun tho,had a lvl 41 rogue.The economy was pretty screwed up in my oppinion.Il keep playing eve online where I can rest assured that I wont wake up with a alpha version of a "combat upgrade"
P.S my oppinion on eve online,not adverting the game.
