    Everyone who had signed up for the beta was supposed to get access to the head start, but at least for me that's not working.
    Hopefully it's just an issue they are working on and not a problem that they have no way to handle.
    Saw on reddit that a lot of people with old TSW accounts can't login either. P.S. Literally after I wrote this I managed to log, so they either have fixed it or I'm just lucky ;)

    Um so I have to uninstall (TSW) and install this game and how do I merge my accounts?

    You can keep the old client, but you do need to download the Secret World Legends one to play SWL. TSW stays up as a separate game alongside SWL.
    Just login with your old account info, and then on the website you get an option to transfer stuff over.

    My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

    From what I can tell my beta install of legends has been upgraded to release so that saves me having to re-install it. I wondered if TSW was empty so figured I'd pop in there........ to find that on starting the launcher it ALSO upgraded itself to the Legends release game (Two very different install folders; definitely not to shortcuts to the same).

    So now I have two copies of the game installed. And a message on the launcher telling me if I want the original game back I have to download the old launcher again, and then presumably re-install.

    *sigh* Not the worst launch I have been through to be fair and it wasn't as though I was chomping at the bit to play either Secret World anyway.

    Been trying to use my old login to access the new game account page, not working... works for the old game account pages... sigh....

    the combat does feel more fluid, however there is still no collision

    Good luck with the download mine has dropped to 2kb/s at certain points and its not my internet Ive been installing it since 10 am its now 9:28 theirs like .2 gigs to go but it says it will take 8 hours because the download speed is crap way to fail and not give a p2p option or provide more mirrors for download.

    Also bonus points won't transfer. Spend them on cosmetics (that will transfer) before you do the account transfer process. Sad we won't get Bonus Points in SWL, but I guess the daily cache key is supposed to replace that (and make you log in daily to use it)

    You bought lifetime for the secret world, not secret world legends... you can still play the secret world afaik

    Installed SWL from the downloadable launcher to a separate directory to TSW that I already had installed. Its patched and works fine.

    Fired up TSW from the original Icon on my desktop and it proceeded to patch itself and now when I run that it fires up SWL ?

    So how exactly do I fire up the original game? Makes no sense.....

    Lol, I was reading only "Matrix Revealed" together with the winter scene screenshot, I thought that maybe they were at the same time revealing a revamp of Matrix Online....

    FYI: Anyone having trouble using their old account usernamee maybe you have the same problem I did. I was able to log in with my username for TSW just fine but it wouldn't take my login on SWL website.

    Turns out my username initially had a swl: prefix. So, try entering swl:username and your password and see if that lets you login to the SWL page. From there you can merge accounts and download the new client. After that my UN dropped the swl: prefix.

    seriously.... people still only bitch, reading that general chat yesterday was one of the most annoying things i did in a loooooong time.

    a) constant question of people asking what to do (even tho the answer have been given 4 secs earlier... as always)
    b) people complaining about stuff they simply DID NOT UNDERSTAND
    c) random trolls appearing who obviously NEVER liked TSW, and no think "uh it's a reboot, i go play now, and i don't like, me bitch again!"

    hint of the day: if you wanna play in peace, disable the chat for the weekend.

    Works as a charm for me. No problem, no lag, no crashes. But its the same bloody game:)

    dont see any patron stuff, i have merged accounts i had TSW ultimate edition and a couple of other DLC's (not all) but dont see anything extra at all. I also only have 1 character slot (i thought one was ment to get an extra 1 or 2 slots for being a patron of the older game)?

    Yeah, looks like that but its now Item Shop reliant.... lookign right off that to progress you will need to pump money into the game (unlike the original version). But one will see what happens soon i guess.

    I see a lot of people saying they didn't get there stuff from the merge. For me it happened a couple hours after I did it. I got a box icon on the bottom right of the screen clicked it and everything was given to me. It wasn't automatic for me. If I hadn't noticed the little icon in the corner I wouldn't have gotten it. Just wanted to put that out there maybe that is the problem for a few others. Don't know if that was how it was suppose to be or not but what I got.
