The Exiled News - The Exile Steam page has been updated with a very candid look at the game's last few months since the launch into Early Access. Developers admit that the game does not currently have enough players to sustain the game or drive development forward. The team has had to take on contract work to pay their personal bills. However, the good news is that things have eased and confidence is high that both contract work and ongoing development on The Exiled can coexist.

The issues with this game is... the world is boring. Grinding is boring. You get small bursts of excitement in the rare pvp encounter with nothing meaningful to do inbetween. If they actually put in real towns, vendors, dungeon content, more crafting and stuff, they would have a solid game even with the 20 day cycles.
It's sad because they hit the bulls eye with one dart, and the other two they threw directly into their foot.
I'd like to see it go the way of the dodo, give me co-op play anytime.
