Overwatch fans rejoice! Doomfist is finally here and is, in fact, on the PTR as we speak. To introduce him, Blizzard has released his origin story trailer and revealing his name as Akande Ogundimu.

    Noice. Installing the ptr right now to try him out. Looks fantastic based on how Kaplan described his abilities.

    Haven't had a chance to try him yet but I imagine those two will be even more annoying to Doomfist than other heroes. Your rocket-punch has a wind-up time. So you wind-up, lining up the perfect shot, and ZIP tracer recalls, or genji double-jumps out of the way.

    Looks like he'll be fun to try, but I can't help thinking mostly about what strategies other characters will use to take him out, which ones might be most effective, etc. Hmm, cybernetic, eh? Sombra, perhaps? Big target for Bastion. Maybe Pharah. Oh, and going the other way, I wonder if he'll be able to get through Diva's pea-shooters and use those melee attacks effectively.

    At any rate, the more variety, the merrier!

    Aw man, I was kinda hoping to hear Terry Crews as the voice since I kept seeing him talk about it. Oh well. lol
