    It doesn't matter anymore.

    With SOE offerring an all-access pass to its plethora of stagnant MMO games you can plan on the NGE version of Galaxies lasting for years, regardless of its shrinking active population.

    The "Big Bang" that pre-nge and cu players wished for went *poof* with Satan's (Smeds) idea that there are plenty of suckers that will pay for MMO gaming when it is bundled up, no matter how bad, bugged, or unfun a single version of the bundled pack is.

    I guess SWG has fallen a long way.  I played a full time crafter and had a lot of fun playing.  They have removed that as an option now and I'm not sad that I let my subscription go when I did.

    I think SWG had the setting and ideal that could have been one of the greatest games ever.  They just fell short.  Pretty sad when you think about it.

    I'd only believe those figures if they include NPCS!

    SWG is a lost cause but because SOE has bought it up with Matrix online it will never go away, Just a bad game that had so much potential.

    It might not be the best mmo out there but its better then the putrid pile of defecation that was pre-cu in any case.

    Population counts do not matter anyway.  SOE is going to keep SWG aflot until everyone gets signed up and paying for SWG2 in 2008.  So the next time you say to yourself "When are they going to give up on this?" remember - the date is sometime 2008 (so far).

    The funny thing here is a post was made with a similar format a few months ago, but the numbers were lower per server than the ones in this one, and ironically, they were both taken on a Friday afternoon.

    Put the beer down... Its affecting your cognitive abilities...And as far as the number count goes for population.. One would think they numbers would be a lot higher being msot of the kids are out of school by that time on fridays.

    Yeah, it reminds me of a recent South Park episode where the people driving around in hybrid cars give each other the thumbs-up sign and say "thanks!"
