Runescape News - Jagex has announced that RuneScape and Old School RuneScape are coming to mobile devices in the near future. RuneScape Anywhere will allow players to jump from device to device and play the same game with the game character regardless of PC, phone or tablet. Old School RuneScape will be first out the gate this winter, with RuneScape Anywhere to follow soon after.

    This should make Jagex a sheet ton of money. It would be the only genuine MMORPG out on mobile. I know there are some out there that make the claim, but the full RuneScape is head and shoulders above all those slapdash attempts out there. Stuff like the Pocket/Arcane Legends are not really MMOs, despite claims to the contrary.

    I am constantly amazed at how innovative Jagex is. I just wish they'd make a new MMO with all of that innovation in it! :)

    This is actually really promising. If they do it right, I might rethink my stance on how absolutely crumey the mobile market for gaming is.

    I don't know... Vendetta Online is pretty genuine.

    My thoughts? Well I hope its successful because I think if RuneScape had a bit better graphics it could do better than Albion Online which bans its 4 year backers would sure go to show them... Not only this obviously but RuneScape has a much better in-depth crafting system than Albion such as crafting and food usage... I do understand that Jagex bans for "RWT" but at least they have a proper rules page and easier to understand than Albion too, at least this is something I can respect about a company that has been around so long.
