Path of Exile News - Grind Gear Games has sent word that the highly anticipated Path of Exile expansion, The Fall of Oriath, is slated for release on August 4th. Oriath literally expands the world by doubling its size with six new acts and the new Pantheon character customization system that allows players to continue to progress their characters beyond the level cap. In a sense, folks can literally seize and use the powers of the gods.

    yeah i stopped playing legacy, so i wouldn't burn myself out ,waiting for this expac. Should be a great expansion to an already great game. hope it brings in even more players, maybe those still on the fence will give it a shot during this time too.

    yea , me to , took a break from POE for 5 weeks now , will be great get at it again , with lots of fresh content to run

    It's great.. but this whole 6 acts thing is getting blown way out of proportion. It is mostly just a rehash of the old acts. This is NOT like 6 proper new acts with new settings and enemies. This kind of marketing only brings in a ton of complainers when they find out what it really is.
    I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

    It really mostly is just a rehash of the old acts but it's done really well imo, Acts 6 and 8 are pretty awesome, not big fan of act 7
