imageConsole Open Beta Extended Through Tuesday - Destiny 2 - MMORPG.com

Destiny 2 News - If you didn't get enough Destiny 2 over the weekend during the console open beta, we have some great news for you. The beta event has been extended through Tuesday, July 25th until 6:00 pm Pacific / 9:00 pm Eastern. The announcement was made via Bungie Twitter with the extra tidbit that the extension is for "additional service testing".

    So I am having a pretty good time with this on PS4 but I gotta be honest and say this feels way to much like a Destiny DLC, not sure there are enough changes and additions so far to make for a new game.

    Just getting it on pc is enough for me :D i fell off destiny 1 couse fps on consoles is njeet.

    After a few hours with the game I feel the exactly the same way. Graphics are better, and I do still love the fee of Destiny gameplay. However this feels like I am playing an exp. pack not a "new" game.

    since ive only played the first 15 min of the game, i cant say much about the game. i mean, everyone is forming an opinion on the game based off what? i want it to feel like d1 since it is a great game. i'll be happy with d2 having more story content. i dont want to hit endgame and just do bounties.

    like others here and everywhere else have already said, this open beta feels like a $60 dollar dlc for Destiny 1.

    Did we really expect groundbreaking with such a short turnaround time from Destiny 1??  The first title is less than (EDITED for correction) three years old, and it fell way short of Bungie's own expectations.

    Most players, including some of the staff here at MMORPG.com, set their expectations for this wayyyy too high.  It isn't 2004 anymore guys.  We've shown we'll keep shelling out cash for reboot and rehash after reboot and rehash.  Why did you expect them to change anything significant here?
