Have you heard of Foxhole? I’m sure some of you have, but don’t feel bad if the answer is no. Until developer Clapfoot’s PR agency asked us to talk with the studio, we didn’t either. Then we played the game, launching into Early Access today on Steam, and we’re now very big fans. Read on for our hands-on preview of this unique persistent war MMO.

I have to agree, early access = cash grab at this point.
Their site claims they want to run off game sales only. So we'll see. No cash shop planned.

Just came here and saw what you guys said, I can see why you don't want it because it's EA and won't try and convince you to buy it, though it was in a F2P pre-alpha for testing and I've been playing it for awhile now and it's a lot more of a full game than any other EA game I've played recently. I just wanted to reassure you it isn't some half-assed game.
Nice to see the sandbox play and some persistence.
As far as the state of quality in EA, it is excellent. I've encountered a few minor bugs, but so far nothing major. One of the most complete EAs I've supported. Also, I buy EA on some games just to support the developers because I think the idea is neat. It's not for everyone, but I do hate that some companies have released under EA early pre-alpha stage games. This game would be in beta on old school terms as far as design and completion.
Very well done and smooth. Still on the fence whether I actually like the entire concept of the game. If you're on the fence about it but like the idea, then I would 100% tell you to go ahead and get it (for a measly $18 on steam right now btw), because it is solidly done as is. A side note: 93% approval on steam right now.

The trailer in the post clearly shows tanks being used
Unfortunately, enough EA developers have abandoned their projects in an unfinished state to make players wary, and rightly so. Not that you aren't right, btw, only that once burned twice shy still applies.
So i am apprehensive at going for any more Early Access games (especially when there is also Citadel forged by fire and Dark and Light that have also just hit the EA scene as well as a game i pre-ordered WWO (Wild West Online).
Foxhole will have to join the other 2 EA games and just be on the watch and wait area.
