hey guys. im curious. what do you guys think about myspace. i was always against it cause it always seemed so lame and mainstream, and i hate that. then a friend made me make one, wel not made, but i guess put the idea in my head and i went from knowing knowing what html was to the site i have now. what im wondering is were you guys like no way thats lame and stayed that way, or broke down and made your own, or did you love it and go right into it from the start. you think its useful at all. just wondering.

The news tells me MySpace is the "crack house of the Internet!" And everything that appears on TV must be true!
People like Benny Hinn, Rod Parsley, and Pat Robertson say its part of the satanic influence on society and in the bible as one of the signs of the apocalypse! "And lo, the [cam]whore of Babylon doth post many images abhorant and lustful upon the alter of the great beast and rambles inanely for all time in her blog." And those men are all on TV!!
My parents say because I make fun of the above people I'm a non-comformist for the sake of being one. (Yeah I don't get that either) Needless to say I let my friends and now ex-gf talk me into making myspace page. Seriously though, I do enjoy it for its original purpose which was supposed to be a cheap place for bands to create sites. I've discovered some really good bands/music on MySpace.
I just wonder when the RIAA will get wise to all the mp3s playing willy-nilly all over the place AND HUNT US DOWN!

As I said I don't see a problem with myspace it's just a huge online community thing, no harm comes of it so it's probably best to go with it andn ot bother knocking it.
Bunch of attention whores. That's what I think of myspace, but that's just my opinion and I'm not judging, that's just what it seems like. Look at me, look at me! I play the fiddle and like cats! Look at me! I went surfing when I was in cazumel! Aren't I neat?!? Look at me! My band is called Roaming Sofa's and we play in my moms basement!

I've said this before and I'll say it again: MySpace is the perfect weapon.....
This siggy is CGI that my cousin made in 4 hours.
I know a lot of my buddies and graduates are on myspace. I just never needed myspace. What is myspace really used for?
To have fun?
Meet more people?
Make new friends?
Meet hot people?
Need attention (yeah it's true there are some attenion whores in myspace, I know a few from my school, bragging about her oh so wonderful modeling career with her cheating boyfriend)?
I don't know, I just never need a online profile of myself for people to look at. When I feel that someone is cool enough with me to talk to and hang about, I go about it. Basicly, I don't need the internet to meet new people. I trained myself in may ways. My best friend had a myspace account and he soon relize he didn't need it (story behind that).
I'm not going to say myspace sucks (I rather say it's useless to me), becuase that site is in the 10 ten on the most viewed in the world. I'm saying that I'm a better/good person in many ways and just don't need online profiling to meet somthing interesting.
Ya feel me? Sorry for spelling and grammar.
EDIT: I aslo agree with grimweeper. Hot women there but you wont meet them.
Also, myspace is ruining a lot of kids lives in many differnt ways. Exposing themselves, living their online world and not learning enough skills in the real world, just too much to explain. I don't know how most parents are dealing with this...there is a lot of bad parenting out there. I'm not going to get into that though.
