imageLove Games? Like Free Stuff? If So, GameSpace Needs YOU! - MMORPG.com News

GameSpace is a growing hobby site and is part of the MMORPG.com family. We're looking for fans of games other than MMOs to give us a hand with reviews, editorials, previews and more. In exchange, you get your words published on a growing multi-platform gaming web site as well as all the free games you can handle. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about their PS4 / XB1 / Switch / Mobile / PC / Mac and every other platform imaginable.

    That's all stuff down the road that we want for sure. We need to get some functionality added, though we'll be shifting to a new template at some point. In the meantime, building readership will help!

    Would be cool to do something like this. Id love to give my 2 cents about a game here and there but I always lack to confidence to actually go and write a long thought out review. GL to whoever ends up doing it!

    Why on earth do you think you'll "get a lot of hate"? Do you think it's something that all of us on staff and all of our readers haven't considered? LOL -- think again! ;)
     
    That's part of the plan too and nearly ALL energy is spent on working to prepare for it. You have to understand that it's a Herculean task, one that has actually failed twice in recent memory and with a lot of shit flinging and mockery as a result. A project of this caliber and size is not like flipping a switch and bringing 15 years of content into Word Press. Would that it was so easy. It's a large task for a small team. If you think you're saying something we don't all wish, you're dreaming.

    In the meantime, we're modernizing what we can here and working there to give people opportunities to have their voices heard about other games that don't fall into the general categories here. We all love games and sometimes the "off topic" things that are posted here get lost in the noise. Being able to post there with a feed link here and various social media outreach support from MMO is a good start.

    At some point in the whatever distance, perhaps the two will be blended together. That time is not today or any time in the immediate future.

    How come MMORPG.com never does any live shows or interviews at say the game events like back in the day? I remember Hillary "Pokket" Nicole used to do them for this site as well as a few others, but over the years it's gone away.

    Mostly now it's just a few random "let's play" or "reviews". Might help the new site if there are some folks who are able to gain press access to bring us the latest news as it happens; in the future. I really hate IGN and their band of nobodies who think they are funny and would rather get game news from you folks.

    I'm definitely interested and just got done sending an email. I've done volunteer writing for mmosite, and was interested in doing it again. I love video games and had fun sharing my opinion and hearing others opinions.
