This past weekend, Citadel Studios and Derek Brinkmann took over the MMORPG.com Twitch channel to live stream Shards Online as its alpha phase of development kicked off. It was a great time and was filled with a lot of information about Shards and a good look at the game.

    Yeah, pentagrams are super evil. They were invented by that dastardly guy Leonardo DaVinci (seriously, they were first scribbled in his journals, he called them PentAlphas since they are 3 As with a circle around.     They were actually considered a good and Christian symbol that kept bad stuff away in the 1600s (for some strange reason) until someone turned them upside down to have the opposite effect. And then Venom painted in Satan in an upside down pentagram on one of their records.

    They seriously don't mean what you think they do. Hollywood movies might not be the best source for Christian and occult knowledge. Anyways, the current mythology is that which side is up makes it good or evil. Yeah, the whole thing is rather silly.

    Guess I missed that where placing skulls around a pentagrams was a protection thing. Sounded like that other thing to me lol.

    So how can we determine whether they're upside down or right side up if we see one in a room or something? Could we put a line underneath it to indicate which side is the bottom?

    Obviously you'd put a line on top when applicable. Evil or Evil-Not. ;p

    Skulls are also not universally held as a bad thing, e.g. the Mexican Day of the Dead.

    pentagrams are used in satanic rituals dont talk crap its like satanism they say they just are atheists but say hail satan,we are not fools we know who runs everything in this world and guess what satan has already lost!
