Fatshark has pulled off the week's biggest surprise with today's announcement of Warhammer: Vermintide 2. After selling over 1.5M copies of the original game, the team felt it was time to unleash the news of its sequel. Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will be released for both PC and consoles. For now, that's all we know, though Fatshark is promising more details at a later date including a special live stream event to be held in October.

Will watch this closely and see if it is more of the same or a good rework. Also doesn't a tease trailer actually have to tease, or does the sound of a fat man carrying heavy shopping up some steps qualify ?
Yeah, unfortunately the attempt at an MMO failed miserably, and GamesWorkship is extremely picky about who can make games with their IP, and what kind of games that can be made. As much as I wish for a second attempt at a Warhammer MMO, I pretty much just assume it will never happen again.
