What MMOs that are currently in development that you think will be a big success? And what will mostly probably fail to you?

    Question answered in a thread on Page 4, first posted 2 days ago. The pub has been getting a lot of traffic and new threads posted recently. So let's use existing threads that are relevant if we can.

    Well if you want to know which ones will fail.  All of them except 5 will most likely fail.

    I'd say the following MMOs make it:

    Age of Conan

    The Chronicle

    Darkfall

    VAnguard: Saga Of Heroes

    Perhaps Lord of the Rings Online

    I doubt The Chronicle, The Lord of the Rings Online, or Darfall are really going to do well.  They just have things that may seem annoying to play through and pretty much aren't offering alot; they also seem highly generic.

    I want LOTR online to do well, but i don't think it will, i feel it will be a flop.  We'll see around beta, but i won't get my hopes up.

    A lot of the MMOs in development look amazing. The problem for me is, most of them aren't going to be free. I can't go and buy games and subscribe to them like other poeple because I don't have a job and my parents don't buy me games a lot. I hope I can get Guild Wars Factions at the end of this month though at least.

    Vangaurd I think will be great, at least it looks great.

    I'm realy looking foward to SUN and HUXLY as well.
