Hogwarts Online... could it be good?

I was wondering if or when they make Hogwarts Online or Harry Potter Online could it be a good MMO. There is a huge fan base for Harry Potter movies, games, and the books of coarse. Myself and others that like harry potter games say if they do make it, it would either be really good or horrible. My idea would be that you would make a character, start at hogwarts by joining a house(Slytherin, Gryfindor, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff), go to the classes and learn spells and skills, do quests when out of class or at night, then join the quidditch team for your house. You would have special skills like alchemy and herbilism, kindof like proffesions. A year at howarts could equal a year or half a year in RL(real life) and after you finish hogwarts you could go into the world of harry potter, fighting voldemort and the deatheaters or watever freakish animals you find. You could get to ride brooms and dragons, etc.
There was a rumor that EA games started developing the game and stopped for some reason. Does anyone know anything about this and what do you think about this game idea?

I don't think it would be good, at least not that good. I mean like in the books there's like 10 new kids per house each year. In the game it would be like 100 or so per year. Also you would be going to school in the game, which i don't think would be that fun. I just think the Harry Potter franchise is too limited to be a MMO. I think that it could only work if they expanded it out of england to around the world with different schools.
Along with the thought of a harry potter mmorpg, i thought it would be cool to have like a Cowboy Bebop mmorpg, or an anime mmo, sounds like it would be cool, but it would probably end up being bad. Also i think it would be cool to have a real MMOFPS that has organized sides and squads and what not and player controled NPCs. Something like DoD + Brothers in Arms + WoW raiding, but once again this is probably one of those things that sounds cool, but wouldn't be cool.
Movie based MMORGs go down normaly rather poorly. the amount of h4rry p0tt3r, h4ry p0ta, ary pota, malfoy, mlafr0y names would be massive to start well just like any game really. but the books and movies have made such a name for them selves that the game would have to be AMAZING right fom the start and that is rather hard as it's not exactly the beginning of MMORPGs and there are a wide array of standards we like to expect.
My bet is, EA games wouldn’t want to put there name to such a potential flunk. (And EA games need to go onto there C&C servers and help us out)
