I'm waiting for the PC release, however I'm not too sure whether I'll have any excitement in me left for PC release, considering that I'll see most if not all the game by the time it releases.
Well fingers cross it's really good and it's still appealing at PC launch :P

I'm super pumped to pick this up. I never know when the launch is though, it comes out on the 6th, but physical releases at Gamestop tend to be earlier than midnight if it's a midnight launch. I know when I lived on the west coast it was like 7pm at most gamestops.

At GameStops at least, the physical version, as well as the white Destiny 2 PS4 Pro system, is being released at 11PM Eastern (which is 10PM Central, 9PM Mountain, 8PM Pacific, etc). That was the time the publisher told them they could release the game at as that was the time the servers were going live (publishers determine the time that GameStop is allowed to handout games, not GameStop), the exact time the servers come up may of course have changed since giving GameStop that information. Also, as of Thursday or Friday of last week they were allowed to finalize receipts for the digital versions to allow those customers to preload.

On a personal note, regarding the PC version releasing almost 2 months later, I jokingly tell console players they get to play the extended beta to prepare for the real release of the game.

Ah, the game I really want to play, but made the most mentally deficient decision to have a two month separation between the console and PC release. Makes NO freaking sense what-so-ever.

You know all the ins-and-outs of their PC development and beta test, then, right? All about their new set up with Blizzard on battle.net and whether or not there are any technical hurdles they're working out?

You seem to believe they're pushing off the pc launch for no reason. Like they're gonna be sitting around with their thumbs up their asses raking in the cash from consoles while they have a big red button that says "Launch PC" with a note taped over it reading "push in 2 months"?

Legit thought process. Keep doing you.

EDIT; Disregard if only mad about the separation of the dates because you're jealous.

I'm more than a bit annoyed with the two month delay on PC release. I don't buy the "being built from the ground up" that some people are swallowing. I see a clear motivation behind the delay on PC release and consequently hope it blows up in their faces.

That said .. I've already pre-purchased the game and will continue to grumble at the obvious display of greed ... while rewarding it. /sigh

It's not stupid. I'd get both but I have to fix the second PS4 first and my son (who has the PS4 Pro) is into more hardcore shooters right now so I'm off the hook. I just get to hurry up and wait.
Ah yeah. Never got any update on that front. Did you try booting with a keyboard and connecting a different Bluetooth device?

Uh...? You're way, way too defensive about what I said, I am very aware about all of that lmao.

All I am saying is that it's a pretty stupid decision to have a two month separation when you're trying to introduce it to the PC crowd for the very first time. I don't really care how long it takes to get the game ready for release on PC, but with a two month separation it clearly is close enough that they could have held off on the console launch until closer to the PC date so as both communities would experience launch at the same time and PC players don't have to dodge spoilers and other things from people, while playing other games for two months. As for jealousy, I have a PS4 that I played the first Destiny on, so I could get it right now, but I am wanting to play it on PC this time around and not gonna buy it twice.

this makes me laugh. pc always gets the game months before console. been that way for years. same with xpacs. so the one time console gets it first and "the master race" is all butthurt? lol.
