Any negative reactions can of course be easily negated by "but it's only alpha !"

Followed by "we will listen to the community and correct these issues soon".

If they keep players strung-along for long enough, they can also dodge the refund bullet, because their refund policy is only valid for a specific period...

Sounds good on paper will wait and see what the actual experience is like. No NDA? Not that they work anyway.

If you bought into it because of the refund be aware that you need to put in for one before the 27th not before the 2nd alpha starts.

The creator of that YT video has stated he regretted making the video before he realised the full details of the game engine for WWO.
People really should know the full facts first, it is a shame.

OK would like to set this right as me and many others also had doubt issues about this.

Sergey Titov has NOTHING at all to do with the company or WWO. The company making this game paid for the use of the game engine from one of his companies.
They thought it would be easier buying the use of a game engine than making one from scratch. Ok i can adhere to that. Fact that the one they went with has a bad name associated to it never dawned on them. They did however respond by saying Sergey has no involvement with the game or the company other than being associated with the game engine.

This is why i decided to give them a chance and bought the collectors edition of the game. I believe in giving chances to a game (but also understand why people are boycotting anything to do with Sergey Titov) if he has anything active involvement (after all he has done several games and abandoned all of them too).

There is a full money back refund policy available to you BEFORE Alpha 2 starts (though many of us have concerns that this may be just too short and are pushing for the refund allowance to be extended untill Beta stage. That way nobody will have to make rash decisions during Alpha stage 1 (which we all know Alpha's never run according to plans and always have issue's), but if they do not then i do think if the game has too much bad about it then people will start refunding. Even the community Manager agree's that Alpha stage 1 is too short (2 or 3 weekends only) so 6-9 days less any server issue's and downtimes.

I have also purchased the collectors edition, and i am also quite aware the history and the direction the devs of WWO made in regards to the Nightshade game engine.  I think you quoted the wrong person and should of directed it at tabloid him/herself. ;)
