EverQuest 2 is getting ready to expand again for the fourteenth time. The new expansion is called Plains of Prophecy that will send players to several locations including the Plane of Magic, the Plane of Innovation, Solusek Ro's Tower and the Plane of Disease. According to the latest Producer's Letter, this expansion is expected to launch this year.

    I wonder how the population is I wonder if my I7, and 1080ti will play the game good enough I might consider going back and giving the game a try again I remember last time I Tried it on my Phenom II CPU even though it met the requirements it was horrid.

    Yeah I doubt EverQuest will die like I don't think it costs them a lot for server hosting as long as they make enough to pay for the servers themselves I don't see it going anywhere.

    That said I think DBG has gbeen a failure since Planet Side 1 went down the drain pretty much I wish they would make Ever Quest 3 I mean im going to install EQ2 and see how it runs I think after I clear some more space off my other drive but I doubt I stay.

    Although I highly think Ashes OF Creation will be EQ 3 but better although I believe Sony could have stayed around longer when it used to be known as Station.com before it became DBG going back to early 2001 ish when it used to be really popular before bad decisions.

    Mind blowing that this game is still running today and has as many xpacs as it does. Now getting its 14th. Glad to see that a golden age mmo is still alive, running, and getting more content. As much as I don't care for it anymore same thing with World Of Warcraft they were released but a week apart.

    I haven't logged into EQ2 in a very long time though I still have it on my computer.

    EQ2 has my favorite ground mount of all time, that rhinoceros, just very well done with the animations.

    I'm not the biggest fan of MMOs' crafting in general, but I didn't mind EQ2's & it's interactiveness.

    I ended-up ceasing play partially b'c of Sony's lousy customer service.

    I wonder if that DayBreak has been fairing any better since they took it over?

    I remember them shutting-down Vanguard & I was keeping an eye out for that H1Z1.

    Ascension level 11, interesting so the PTW must have worked out on the raiders. Guess more micro transactions incoming.

    It's nowhere so get over it lol, should never had the name 'Everquest' in it's title. Plus blame SOE not daybreak.

    Not sure what faceroll easy means (Swede), but yes on a standard server e.g. Thurgadin it is very easy to level, especially with a merc at your side.

    If you want oldschool hardcore though, create a character on Fallen Gate timelocked and you are in for a treat. It is hard again :-) like any mmorpg should be imo.
