This keeps looking better and better. I really miss having a create-your-own-superhero game to play.

I still think the name of the game is super weak. They should give the ship a name like "The Exodus" and name the game like "Heroes of Exodus" -or something. I realize it's likely important to them to keep 'heroes' in the title. But ship of heroes is super generic and creates no excitement.

That said! It's looking good! It's great to see continued and steady progress!

Yeah I do agree about the name. "Ship of Heroes" is just an awful title.

While I find the whole concept ridiculous (a "ship" with super heroes on it - I must not get comics) the name is dumb.

The name needs changing and the enviromental graphics look off.
You have dozens of things to change about the face including the inside and outside turns of the eye, but hardly anything for the rest of the body. Oh and you can wear a helmet rendering all the time you spent on your face moot. I think they're spending their development time in the wrong areas.

Yeah, even if you don't wear a mask, how much is anyone going to notice all those fine facial details? Well, it may be nice for those who do want to mess with all that fine-tuning, just so long as putting all that in doesn't detract from getting the important stuff done, or make it take longer.

Well, I kind of like fine facial details but that's something I pay attention to.

As far as helmets, people need to take them off. Or, if their character "always has a helmet" then character creation for the face is pretty easy at that point.

Yes, as I said, it's a nice touch for those who like to play with that -- but can you actual SEE such fine differences in other characters' faces while you're playing? Maybe if you're standing around role-playing having a meeting. Most of the time, you're in battle and all you see is the backs of the characters, not their fronts and faces. Even when you're standing around talking, you have to be pretty close to notice those subtle details. Again, nothing wrong with having it, but it's not something I'd spend time on if I were developing a game. I can play around with faces in Blade & Soul and a number of others, what I liked about CoH's character creation was being able to play a hulking giant or a tiny midget -- without being limited to one race or another; at any size I could be an alien, robot, Furry, insectoid, knight, an ordinary (looking) human, or a nerd in high-tech armor. I'm afraid focusing on sliders for tweaking a human face will detract from offering those much more significant  differences.
