Well, I decided to try the 14 day trial (I had tried the free trial of CoH when MMORPG.com had it too) so I went through the sign up process (could they make that more circular?) got everything set, and downloaded the file they had on their website. To my chagrin, it was a download, just to get to the download! Ok, I think, I can handle this. So away I go, start the download... WTF??? 25kb/s???? Ok, Ok, maybe it just needs to warm up...
2 hours later...
WTF??? 25kb/s??? 27 hours to go???
What a waste of my time.
Before you tell me to get a faster internet connection, I am on a 10mb line, so don't. I even let this run overnight last night, maybe it would pick up speed in the off hours. NOPE. Ok, so my thoughts are that if a company is selling their game online (which they are) they should at least have some bandwidth available to download from. What's the point of having a 14 day trial when the first 2 are spent just downloading the game?

Odd. I'm usually connected at around the upper 600 kb/s.
Try cancelling and restarting the transfer. You won't lose what's already been transferred.

You also may want to take into consideration that our not the only one doing it.
Also is it going though a virus checker and a firewall which will also slowdown and hinder the download?
