The goal of this study is to explore how our video game preferences are related to other parts of our lives.

You can take this survey if:

You are an adult living in the United States

AND

You have played a rated video game in the last 2 weeks. (If you’re not sure if your game is rated, go to www.esrb.org. Enter your game title into the search bar. If a game title appears, please make sure it is the correct game. If your game does not appear, you are not eligible to participa te in this study.)

Results may help us understand how video game preferences are related to other parts of our everyday lives.

    Well, I took the survey, survey monkey kept having issues. I did not get the link to where I could submit for my gift card.

    The rated game has to be the one we've played the MOST in the last 2 weeks?  I thought I was lucky that one of the games I've played recently was actually rated, but it's not the one I played the most.  :(
    I want to help design and develop a PvE-focused, solo-friendly, sandpark MMO which combines crafting, monster hunting, and story.  So PM me if you are starting one.

    How many questions are on that thing?  I got to the second page of 50 questions and just quit.

    No you misunderstood. Choose whichever rated game you've played most. Ignore all other games you've played (for the purpose of this survey). If you haven't played a rated game, you're not eligible. If you've played more than one, just choose the one you've played the MOST. Thanks for taking the time to take my survey!

    That's what most of mine would usually be. Unfortunately I have crappy satellite internet, so I've been playing offline games. Rimworld is freaking awesome, though, so at least I have that.

    There's a progress bar at the top that tells you how far along you are, but there's only really 3 pages that have all the questions. You were probably already half-way through when you gave up. It only takes 15 minutes, and that's not for me, that's for someone new to the survey who doesn't know the questions and stuff. I tested it in advance because I hate when surveys say "15 minutes" and it turns into 45!

    It took more like 25 minutes, but I completed it successfully.
