Dauntless News - The Dauntless team has released a video preview of the Sharpen Your Skills update coming to the game. In it, players will be able to face off against a pair of new behemoths, to check out new combat features, participate in the overhauled matchmaking system and be able to grab new gear and try out new character customization.

There is no official release date yet cause the Devs are more focused on making a quality game instead of rushing something out cause they put a date on it. But so far, everything has been going well with the game, so it will be early 2018 should everything go according to plan. Been playing this game since the first and second tech alpha and trust me.. this game has added a lot since the tech alpha earlier this year.
Dont think that matters to them. They have been milking money for over a year with Paid Alphas and Founders Packs with Early Access. Pretty much all the special new industry "buzzwords". After launch its F2P, at which time I assume they swap to milking microtransactions.
