Not True To D&D

What a JOKE! This game neither feels like D&D or a MMORPG. You would think that Dungeons & Dragons would be the ultimate MMORPG experience. What the hell were they thinking? IMO the devs should have pointed the art direction toward the classic style that we all love. Not to mention created a HUGE D&D world to explore and live in. The only bigger let down MMORPG-wise (IMO) would be Star Wars Galaxies. But then, maybe not. Atleast that game started great. This game is a flameing piece of crap. When will they learn?

    And no one disagrees...yep, this game is dead. Quickest failure in MMORPG history I'm guessing.

    I thought playing DnD with dice was boring...who'd wanna play a game about it?

    Apart from Dragonshard, the D&D games like Dark Alliance just don't have the "feel" of D&D like Baldurs Gate. If any DnD fan here has played Dark Alliance then the fact DDO isn't like the "traditional" D&D shouldn't have come as that much of a surprise.

    No annoying animated GIF here!

    Ya its very sad that this game feels more like Dark Alliance, a console game that is all action  and little content, over the truly great and lasting rpgs based on the D & D ruleset.
