Another one of those awards from MassivelyOP, this time for best indie or crowdfunded MMO - http://massivelyop.com/2017/12/22/massively-ops-best-of-2017-awards-best-indie-or-crowdfunded-mmo/

It also appears to be a sentiment supported by the readers

Depending on the criteria people use, if we're talking solely about released Crowdfunded MMOs then the pool is significantly smaller than the list given above (like maybe 2 or 3 released games).

That being said, Elite has always had a strong development model, so they are well deserving either way.

    your not hearing me

I consider them indie because they walk, talk, and produce like one.

Its like a 70s rock band but they where technically in the 80s. yeah its in the 80s but they are a 70s rockband in how they sound.

and to be more exact I mean they dont produce shitty games, they dont advertise to the hilt, they dont try and screw you over at every turn the games are actually strikling different from a AAA game experience

The MMO defenition on Elite kinda jinxes me up, one MMO open-world you can just click and play SP in solo in the same game world is weird.

Massively polls are always a silly mess, there's no context it's just "what's best crowdfunded MMO of 2017" respond with games released, and games do not have a single playable version yet. I can't make sense of that site, or the logic of its readers.

The various modes are very welcome, sometimes people just don't want to bother with others disrupting their gameplay and having options are nice. You can play solo, in a private group with half a dozen friends, in a large private group such as Mobius with its 40,000+ members or in open mode. Catering for all different playstyles and having the ability to switch at will is a good idea. I do wish they would implement a proper Iron Man mode though.

    MassivelyOP polls are fine.
