Same here, patiently waiting for a PS4 port. If it never comes out then i'll play it again whenever i end up buying an XB slim on sale. As much as i love this game i am not playing it again with a mouse.
They need some QoL improvements on xb1 badly or they won't retain players. I like it and play it regularly on xb1 but they are trying to hard to keep it die hard like pc with a bare bones trade system, extreme currency grind, ect.
The console player base is small because of this imo.

How do I even work my way into that gear? I've looked at trade forums and am trying to figure out the trade system and it's crazy. Every time I take a step forward it feels like I'm greeted with a meta-game wall I have to work through just to play. It takes away a lot from the experience for me.
The uniques are pretty basic and cheap and the rares are fairly common, could even try and craft some. Unless the market is completely different on XB1, which I would not know.
My biggest concern with the XB1 launch was with how trading would work. Because it's a horribly flawed system as-is even on PC. And from what I've seen, the XB1 version could be okay if you're playing completely self found, that's about it.
PoE in general is super grindy though, and without having an efficient way to flip/merch, I can see how getting currency is problematic on console.
When all is said and done, more is always said than done.

Path of Exiles trade system feels like it was created via a blind game of twister...
"Right hand red..... Looks like gear with +hit chance will yield Armourer's scraps! Yea..... That follows."

I'm on PC actually. I'm still figuring out how trade works. I need to farm more cash and I'm really low level so maybe that will eventually work itself out.
Your build guide is great. For a new player that doesn't understand the systems, it's hard to see and understand how to work their way into any build.
For example, when I look up the gear on a trade site I see that most of it is way above my level so that leaves me wondering what a newbie is supposed to do between now and the place where I'm the level and have the money. I just figured the console and pc versions worked similarly.
Thanks.
A lot of guides are only there for end game. Like level 70+.
PoE Leveling is generally completed by "efficient" players using a few uniques like Tabula Rasa/Wanderlust, and a handful of skills depending on your build like Blade Vortex or Firestorm.
Anyway, hope you enjoy my guide once you get into maps. Cool to know people over here seen it too.

Xb1 trade is pretty rough. It's hard to buy or sell with the current system. SSF is pretty much the way u play. I have bought and sold a few items. But it's cumbersome

The skill tree kinda bugs me too, but wouldn't be so bad if I could full respec at-will.

but i guess we all cant get what we want
Try to be excellent to everyone you meet. You never know what someone else has seen or endured.

The trade system is very odd to say the least.

You can full respec .It's just a bit pricey . Also after every major update or skill tree change , they are resetting the skill trees for everyone .
