I saw some gameplay videos of ... I thought it was "Closers" on YouTube awhile back and it looked pretty good. Then I got into the Beta and what I got was basically a bunch of repetitive side-scrolling battles like something from an old arcade video game punctuated with cute, often humorous interludes of story all set in the same city square. I mean, it's free, so nothing to complain about, but nothing to hold my interest, either.

    Still searching...

It's called a belt-scroller, and yes, it's intentionally reminiscent of an old arcade game. That is exactly the point.

This one and soul worker are still a mystery to me. I'm a fan of animes and mmo's and yet i can't play them at all they just feel cluncky. Tested both and its so hard to like the games but i can't put my finger on why.

Yeah I'm really not a fan of this style of game. Could never get into Elsword either.

I would rather play a Maplestory clone because at least En Masse has a decent reputation and track record, unlike Nexon.

I can't figure out what audience they think wants this in the West.
