Also not sure why people have a problem with players seeing the article on their forum or Reddit, and then coming to tell us why we should check it out....take it with a grain of salt if you will, but no harm in someone throwing in their two cents.

I'd rather hear from the one post people than the jerk here with 1k plus posts being a tool to everyone he talks to...so yeah...there is that.

You are not a one-post person.  Can you not read?

Although I suppose you're pretty darn close to one.

No need to be an asshat.

A game where everyone needs to rush over from their reddit and register just to make one post about how great it is after an article has been posted about it is a sign of desperation.   Villainizing and using me as your straw man in attempt to deflect that isn't going to change things when every other veteran poster here clearly sees it as well.  (Attempt to) Strike me down  with your pointless personal attacks and you still have everyone else here who can actually see things for what they are, as shown by the replies of everyone else here who isn't just "coming over from reddit" (suuuuuure, yes, that's what they're doing)

You can call it desperation, but I call it a loyal fanbase promoting something that they enjoy because you are an Indie Dev that needs all the help getting the word out about your MMO you can get. If nobody talks about your game because they don't know about it, nobody is going to know about your game so they can talk about it. Those that know about it and enjoy it should speak up if they desire success for the game.

I lurk all over the place and rarely post unless it is in a community that I feel comfortable in. I knew I was going to get called a sock puppet by registering and posting. I posted anyway because when the dev I have the most respect for has an article posted about his product I come out of my lurker hole and post.

I am one of the one post (now two post!) Stash players that came over to promote the game and I did so because I am excited to see where this is going. It is a fun game as it is and it is getting better all the time because the devs care about player input and desires. I'm sure you could find a game that is more polished, but tell me the size of the dev team that game has, the budget that has been allocated to it, and how long it has been in development. If that game has a better score in any of those than Stash, then I would expect there to be more polish to it or I would say those other devs are dragging their feet.

Call it what you will, I'm promoting a product I believe in because a dev from a team I believe in deserves all the attention and success I can bring their way through my efforts. I have been playing games from this company for eighteen years now. They have always come through with quality gameplay experiences. This one deserves a look.

It's from that Dev guy that did that text based game from the mid 90s where 80% of the population was girls / identified as female. Guess him / the company still lives. Yay.

This isn't a signature, you just think it is.
