i played wow before, i was a druid. and now i was wondering of there was any other games out there with druid as a classe?and are they like on wow, where you can shapeshift and other cool things? ( i dont care if they are called other things then druids, just that they can shapshift)

You can be a Fury in EQ2 and turn into other animals.

In EQ, there are druids and from my understanding they are similar to druids in WoW.

There are druids in Diablo II expansion, they shapeshift into wolf/bear and can summon elements of the earth to fight for them like volcanoes. They can also summon animals to fight for them like birds and stuff.

There are shapeshifting skills in that free mmo at mmolands.com. It's uh, man I don't even remember what the game is called but you can find it if you really look. It's the mmofps/rpg game with frogs as a playable race.

In EQ2

You have 3 Druid classes.

They are called -> Warden - more healer type of druid , transforms into a wolf
-> Fury - more ofensive caster type - transforms into a lion
-> Mystic - more melee type of druid - transforms into bear

Now, if you get the latest expansion

Your druid will be able to transform into whole range of other things , depending on weapon they are holding.

Like if it is blunt weapon you transform into Treant

There is difference to WOW druid that is Jack Of all Trades type , in EQ2 Druid is a healer with a punch.

Havn't played any other mmorpg where Druids were as fun as WOW. Plus talent trees allowed you to switch from healer to offensive.

WoW and Eq2 druids both have the same types of gameplay. In WoW if you want to specc for melee damage then go feral spec and you can choose between either cat or bear form to focus on. Bear is tanking form while the cat form is dps and stealth both forms give leader of the pack which aids in melee dps crits. Now if you want offensive casting then go balance and get your moonkin form which aids in magic casting crits for your whole party. If you want to be more of a healing type of druid go restoration specc and get Invenerate to help priests regen mana faster in raids or yourself in group parties so you can heal longer.

The only draw back in WoW is that you have to waste gold to respecc but again the draw back in EQ2 is that you have to reroll a whole new character.

P.S. Vangaurd is gonna have druids but they will be offensive nature casters and not very good healers from what I've heard.

So you said that in the latest expasion ( i guess its EoF, right ), you can, as a druid, transform into alot of things, like, if you hold a blunt weapon ( i suppose you mean a hammer, right ? ), you can be a Treant ( wich is a ghost tree, right ? ), so what if you hold a bow, a gun, a sword, a hammer or a stick ?

Best shapeshifting class I've personally ever played was the Adventurer in Anarchy Online. Could turn into anything from a leet (small bipedal rodent) to a Pit Lizard (huge flying reptile, no it doesn't breath fire)
