  Lots of people still play EnB. I DID play, but ks'ing and the lack of any new places to explore forced me out, sad too cause EnB has tons of potential

  yeah there is people still playing.  and there is a ton of new content.  2 new sectors in the last 2 patches.  lost over uber loot.  The game went from a 5 rating for me to a 9 overnight.

  Still play every day. Been with the game since beta, and personally, I think it's one of the best out there.

  As with any game, you can get bored playing. It's what you make of it. Gameplay has tons of content... Something for everyone.

  The Devs are adding more explore content currently, revamping sectors, adding some really tough mobs that require several groups to conquer.

  IMHO the best space mmorpg out there.

   I Have to agree with Klyde. This IS the best game out there at the present time.

  Lots of new content still going in.  New players joining all the time.  I cant say enough about this game.

  I play almost everynight for about 4 weeks now. I am lvl 47 with over 2, 550, 000 credits. Anyone have an opinion on the right kind of laser to use? And whats up with the EMP, Psionic, and so on...Anyone?

  Roubles, first off... get into a good guild, they can help with choosing the right gear, and many times will provide it free up to a certain level.

  If you want help here, I'm going to need a little more info, like race/class, combat level, what level weapons you are looking for, etc.

  In regards to beams in general,

    Plasma Beams slowly drain the enemies shields, then hull if he has a hull

    Energy Beams do instant damage to mobs that aren't energy resistant. ie. Manes

    EMP Beams slowly drain your enemies reactor, which will render him unable to use skills or weapons

  Mainly i use a plasma and energy setup to deal the most damage. Or all plasma for mobs with no hull cause plasma seems to do more total damage in the end.

  Psionic deflects increase your ability to resist mob skills. And a Jenquai Defenders Psi Shield give you effectively a bigger shield cap plus the reistance to mob skills.

  well, i don't follow to well here. I am a lvl 47 with only a 15 combat skill.  I can only have a lvl 3 weapon and have no idea what ones to go with. The reload time on most of them take too long. I have a laser beam and a projectile. The projectile reloads in a couple minutes while the laser reloads in 4 or 6 I think. But when I read the description, the one I think I want to use damages the hull after  awhile. I have only 3 spaces where my equipables are and only two spaces where my weapons are. Both are full. I just would like to know what ones will help the most during combat. I can't go anywhere where the combat levels are above 8-10 because I get killed. Sure am tired of owing $$ for a tow back to the station...lol   I can only prospect up to a level 3 but when I go to a 4 it drains my energy quickly and I have to wait till it comes back. So I mostly hang out either in Kalaaisa or Swooping Eagle till I earn enough credits to advance. Kinda boring but its all I can do.

  ok, I was in one but I left. they helped me at first by giving mr a 200% reactor and engine and some $$. but then never heard from them again so I left it. Do you have an opinion on a "good" guild in the Galiileo Galaxy for JE

  I don't know which would be the best guild, as I play on Andromeda. There are some good guilds on all of the Galaxies though. Try going to E&B's site or EBPortal.com, there's quite a bit of info on guilds at both sites.

  If you are a JE, with lvl 3 beams, prolly the best setup for you right now would be White Dragons or Yellow Dragons. Both have pretty good damage, both are energy, and are easy to build which is the hard part... getting builders to make low level gear.

  Get a Sculptor device for mining, it will help a lot.

     I played this game for awhile, but got quickly bored with the style. a space game thats essentially 2d and not 3d (like xwing vs tie) is a little bit lame. Warping to your target and beating on it with little strategic manuevering is kinda lame. I was hoping for a little bit faster type combat. I know there are a few specials and your weapons are a little different. but it is essentially still dps. Little difference in ship size as well, really little. If they let you buy a bigger ship (really bigger) that let you do a sort of Homeworld thing, that would have been nice.Letting you change the colour of your ship was a good idea, but only 3 layouts for looks is not. Also, for all the so called 3 races.. its really just humans so far. Allowing guilds or even individuals to make bases or something might have helped. I have also tried others, so this isnt the worst by far... but still would have to make big improvements before I would consider this a good mmorpg.

  For a MMORPG I would say this is below average. For a space based one... well its a pretty to look at, but roleplaying and content is sadly lacking. I will wait til they make it 3d.
